Kevin Smith is making wonderful memories after surviving a massive heart attack in late February.

The 47-year-old actor and writer posted a family picture on Tuesday (March 27) from Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

Kevin posed with his family, including wife Jennifer Schwalbach Smith and daughter Harley Quinn Smith, in a cute shot in front of Sleeping Beauty’s castle.

“You just survived a heart attack! What do you wanna do next? ‘I’m going to @disneyland!’ Yesterday we took a family trip together for the first time in years to the happiest place on Earth, to celebrate my still being alive (and to do research)! We spent 7 hours going on every ride in the park except Splash Mountain and Dumbo (both closed for repairs), the Tea Cups, and the Indiana Jones adventure,” Kevin wrote.

“When we first moved to California in 2002, Jen and I would bring a young @harleyquinnsmith to @disney at least once a month. So yesterday’s trip to the #magickingdom was not only good for the heart, it was good for the soul!”

Chris Pratt tweeted at Kevin Smith after he revealed he suffered a “massive heart attack,” and some people are not happy with the words he chose.

Chris tweeted, “Kevin we don’t know each other too good but I have loved you since Clerks and I’m praying my ass off for you cause I believe in the healing power of prayer. Can you please pray with me people!? Praying for you. I will continue to. You inspired me with Clerks when I was a senior HS. I’m tagging my Lb/rb football coach who showed me the movie cause he believed in me and knew I’d be inspired.”

Some took offense to Chris telling Kevin he was praying for him, citing that “thoughts and prayers” don’t work when it comes to mass shootings.

Some of the replies to Chris include, “Yup, thoughts and prayers to mass murder victims too,” “Praying clearly does not work! If it did and if there was this ‘God’ you’ve been brainwashed to believe in, those poor people at the school in Florida wouldn’t have been shot to death etc etc etc etc etc,” and “WTF is praying going to do? Wise up! He’s in hospital, science is the best place for him, diet change and exercise. Not random thoughts by you or anyone else!”

James Gunn, Chris‘ Guardians of the Galaxy director, came to his defense a short time later.

Kevin Smith suffered a massive heart attack after a standup show on Sunday (February 25).

The 47-year-old comedian was filming for a standup special, Kevin Smith Live!, at the Alex Theatre in Glendale, Calif. He was scheduled to do 2 shows, but cancelled the second.

“After the first show this evening, I had a massive heart attack. The Doctor who saved my life told me I had 100% blockage of my LAD artery (aka “the Widow-Maker”). If I hadn’t canceled show 2 to go to the hospital, I would’ve died tonight. But for now, I’m still above ground!,” Kevin tweeted.

We’re sending Kevin the best and hope he makes a quick recovery.

Robert Pattinson and Mia Wasikowska are ready to premiere their new film Damsel at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival!

The 31-year-old Twilight star and the 28-year-old Alice Through the Looking Glass actress teamed up for the Damsel dinner at DIRECTV Lodge presented by AT&T on Monday (January 22) in Park City, Utah.

That same day, they stopped by the Acura Studio along with their co-stars David and Nathan Zellner, who also served as the movie’s writers/directors.

The foursome also spoke at The IMDb Studio and The IMDb Show on Location with moderator Kevin Smith.

Damsel – set to premiere on Tuesday at the festival – tells the story of a businessman who travels West to join his fiancée in the mountains.

Bill Skarsgard just received a big honor!

The 27-year-old It actor was presented with the IMDb STARmeter Award at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 21) in Park City, Utah.

The award was presented by IMDb’s founder Col Needham. Kevin Smith also attended the award ceremony.

“Bill Skarsgard took on an iconic – and nightmare-inducing – role in last year’s It and helped propel the film’s record-breaking success,” Col said.

Bill was recently ranked No. 1 Breakout Star and No. 5 Top Star of 2017 on the website. Congratulations on the honor!

Melissa Benoist films a few scenes outside for the upcoming season three of Supergirl on Wednesday afternoon (August 30) in Vancouver, Canada.

The 28-year-old actress was joined by co-stars Odette Annable, Katie McGrath, and Mehcad Brooks as they spent the day filming.

Supergirl returns for season 3 on Monday, October 9 on The CW.

The cast of Arrow steps out to promote season 6 of their hit show at 2017 Comic-Con on Saturday (July 22) in San Diego, Calif.

The cast – including Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Willa Holland, Echo Kellum, Rick Gonzales, Juliana Harkavy, and Katie Cassidy – were joined by moderator Kevin Smith to share a sneak peek at the upcoming season.

The cast also stopped by the #IMDboat that day!

During the discussion, Stephen shared an inside scoop of what his character Oliver Green is like as a dad.

“Oliver’s not a very good dad,” Stephen said. “I was really nervous about my first scenes with Jack [Moore], who plays William. I’m loving my scenes with him. To do fun, new stuff as Oliver has been a real joy. But he’s a s�”t dad.”

Season 6 of Arrow kicks off on Thursday, October 12 on The CW.
