Lady Susan Hussey is apologizing after the racist incident that occurred at Buckingham Palace last month.
Last month, Queen Consort Camilla hosted an event at the Palace to raise awareness and combat violence against women.
While attending the event, Lady Hussey allegedly repeatedly asked domestic abuse activist Ngozi Fulani, founder of the charity Sistah Space, racially charged questions, including “what nationality are you?” “where do you really come from?” “where do your people come from?” and “what part of Africa are you from?” She has apparently resigned from her position at the Palace.
On Friday (December 16), Buckingham Palace announced that Lady Hussey met with Ngozi “to address the incident that took place at a Palace reception last month.”
