Sean Penn gives a thumbs up while posing for a photo with his buddy Laird Hamilton at the premiere of the surfer’s movie Take Every Wave on Wednesday (September 27) at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

Some of the other stars in attendance at the event included Chelsea Handler, Minnie Driver, and Laird‘s wife Gabrielle Reece.

Take Every Wave “traces Hamilton‘s remarkable journey, from his rebellious childhood in Hawaii to his fearless first forays into surfing to his relentless pursuit of ever-bigger waves, a quest that ultimately led him to conquer what’s been called ‘the heaviest wave ever ridden.’”

The film hits theaters and VOD this weekend!

Oprah stepped out right after announcing on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she has lost 15 pounds since starting Weight Watchers on August 12.

“As of today, since August 12th, I’ve lost 15 pounds,” Oprah said. “I’m excited about Weight Watchers being able to bring a healthier, more holistic approach for everybody.”

Kenny Chesney shows off his toned physique while going shirtless at the beach during a fun day with friends on Wednesday (October 21) in Malibu, Calif.

The 47-year-old “No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem” singer was joined by professional surfer Laird Hamilton and some other buddies for a game of bocce ball on the beach.

Kenny already has a big show planned for next year. He will be performing at the Jordan Hare Stadium in Alabama on April 23 alongside fellow country acts Miranda Lambert and Sam Hunt.
