Laura Dern tried to pay the bill when she had dinner with Taylor Swift recently, but she wasn’t quick enough!

A new report has revealed that Taylor‘s security team secretly paid the bill during her dinner with Laura, actress Zoe Kravitz, and director Greta Gerwig.

The three stars ate at Il Buco Alimentari in New York City on September 19 and the bartender who waited on them spoke to Vulture about what happened during the meal.

“I was actually her server,” the bartender, named Julius, said. “I wasn’t aware that she was going to come here for dinner — big celebrities don’t put in a reservation. I was like, ‘Holy sh-t!’”

Bradley Cooper and Laura Dern are catching up over lunch!

The 48-year-old Silver Linings Playbook actor and the 56-year-old Jurassic Park actress were spotted together on Monday (October 23) in New York City heading out for a mid-day meal.

They dined at Cafe Cluny Restaurant and looked relaxed as they left together.

Bradley and Laura both sported jackets for the autumn weather, and Laura was seen grabbing some flowers from a local shop after their lunch.

If you didn’t know, Bradley is currently rumored to be dating Gigi Hadid, as the pair was spotted on a date and reportedly spent time together at Gigi‘s family farm in Pennsylvania.

At one time, Laura was speculated to be in a romantic relationship with Bradley, but she shut down the rumors.

“We’re amazing friends. We’re so lucky. And we’re family,” Laura told Us Weekly in 2019. “Everybody’s always gonna comment about whatever seems intriguing, and he’s the greatest human, and one of my best friends in the world. So I don’t blame anyone for having deep curiosity about his life cause he’s spectacular.”

Taylor Swift has now performed five shows in Los Angeles as part of the Eras Tour and there have been over 100 celebs spotted throughout the five nights.

The fifth show of the L.A. run took place on Tuesday night (August 8) at SoFi Stadium and we spotted more than 20 stars in the crowd, including so many A-List celebs.

If you didn’t know already, most of the celebs get to sit in special VIP tents that are situated around the floor section, though some of them will often buy their own tickets and sit in the stands with fans, or in private suites around the stadium.
