The Mighty Ducks is coming back!

A reboot of the ’90s franchise is set to hit Disney+, Variety reported on Wednesday (February 12).

Disney+ issued a 10-episode series order for a sequel to the original series, according to the report, with Gilmore Girls star Lauren Graham playing the lead character, Alex. Good Girls star Brady Noon is set to play her son, Evan.

Production is set to begin in Vancouver in the next few weeks, with a premiere expected sometime later in 2020.

Here’s a plot summary: “The new Mighty Ducks is set in present day Minnesota, where the Mighty Ducks have evolved from scrappy underdogs to an ultra-competitive, powerhouse youth hockey team. After 12-year-old Evan (Noon) is unceremoniously cut from the Ducks, he and his mom Alex (Graham) set out to build their own ragtag team of misfits to challenge the cutthroat, win-at-all-costs culture of competitive youth sports.”

The actresses joined their cast members as they attended the 2020 NBC Winter Press Tour on Saturday afternoon (January 11) at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Calif.

Lauren was joined by her Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist co-stars Skylar Astin, Peter Gallagher, John Clarence Stewart, Alex Newell, and Mary Steenburgen.

Rosario attended the event with her Briarpatch cast members Kim Dickens, Andy Greenwald, and Jay R. Ferguson.

Lauren Graham is radiant in red as she arrives at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 52-year-old actress stepped out for the event with partner and former Parenthood co-star Peter Krause.

Lauren Graham made an appearance on Busy Tonight on Sunday (November 18) and came clean about completely forgetting how she even met the host Busy Philipps herself.

“No… I don’t remember. You’ve been in my life as long as I’ve been alive,” the 51-year-old Gilmore Girls star said. “I don’t even remember shopping on Robertson [Boulevard], that’s how long ago this was… Robertson has now, wait will I get in trouble for saying this? I don’t know.”

Lauren Graham worked with television producer Amy Sherman-Palladino on the beloved series Gilmore Girls and now the actress wants a role on her new series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!

The new Amazon series has won the top prizes for comedy at both the Golden Globes and the Critics’ Choice Awards, and now the second season will start production in March.

“I gotta get my girl Lauren on the show,” Amy told THR. “I want to have her on it.”

“Lauren wants to be something very specific,” she added about the actress already pitching her own ideas. “She has it all figured out.”

Lauren Graham‘s role in the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm has been revealed!

The 50-year-old actress will appear in multiple episodes of the series’ ninth season as a love interest for star Larry David.

“Larry‘s always had a complicated relationship with NBC censors. Now he’s dating one,” Curb executive producer Jeff Schaffer told Entertainment Weekly. “This is a pretty good relationship in spite of the fact that she’s an NBC censor. She does have a kid. And that can complicate things.”

Lauren‘s casting was announced back in May, but no one knew details about her character until now.

After a six-year hiatus, Curb will return to television on October 1.
