Christopher was seen filming scenes with several actors, including Danielle Mone Truitt and Ainsley Seiger.

Christopher Meloni just recently discussed the possibility of future Law & Order crossovers after Season 1 of Organized Crime began with a crossover appearance from Mariska Hargitay, while he appeared at the same time on SVU.

He said to Deadline he heard “a rumor” that the new spin-off, For the Defense, “might be a perfect offshoot for my friend here [Wheatley, Dylan McDermott] to weasel out of the charges from Organized Crime.”

“That’s just a rumor, so I can’t confirm or deny. But I actually just was discussing with the showrunner, Ilene Chaiken, getting together over shrimp and whiskey and figuring out where we go from here. We’re just so thoroughly focused and entrenched in getting these first eight done and hammering out 108, which will be the last of this particular series. It’s just, all hands are on deck right now.”

'Law & Order' Spinoff Writer Fired Over Threatening Comments Pertaining to Protests

Craig Gore, a writer whose work has included “S.W.A.T.” and “Chicago P.D.,” has been fired from the upcoming Law & Order spinoff for comments he made surrounding the protests.

Social media users noticed he posted that he was going to “light motherf—ers up who are trying to f— with my property” amid the protests in Los Angeles (and across the country) resulting from the death of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter.

“I will not tolerate this conduct, especially during our hour of national grief. I am terminating Craig Gore immediately,” Dick Wolf said in a statement to Variety. It looks like Gore wrote these comments on Monday (June 1) and was terminated shortly after it was brought to executive’s attention.
