RHONY's Carole Radziwill Says She Kissed Liam Neeson at Andy Cohen's Christmas Party Years Ago

Carole Radziwill, a journalist and former Real Housewives of New York cast member, is speaking out about the night she kissed Liam Neeson at a Christmas party.

“I met him at a Christmas party one night and my knees buckled. If I knew how to swoon, I would have swooned. And it’s not because he’s a movie star. If you’ve met one you’ve met them all, and I’ve met more than my share. My run-in with Liam was free of controversy. It started over the eggnog. I was at Andy Cohen’s annual Christmas party, sitting on a counter in the kitchen watching the booze come and go. There were two other things you could count on at this party: the brownies will get you stoned, and one surprise guest will show up. One year it was Madonna with her own chic entourage. She sat in the corner and grumbled about the music. Another year, during his lumbersexual phase, John Mayer showed up in flannel and stayed until the end. Once, I brought Susan Sarandon with me and she started chatting with a woman who looked a lot like Monica Lewinsky. We learned after she left, it was Monica Lewinsky,” Carole wrote for Town & Country.

In the essay, she recalled seeing Liam for the first time.

“The height and bulk of him was overwhelming, like finding yourself at the base of a California Redwood. I don’t remember what we went on to talk about because a few moments later another man walked past in the overcrowded room and bumped me out of his way, spilling my eggnog. I don’t recall one detail about the second man. I only remember Liam. He put his huge hand on my arm to steady me, and then I could hear his deep Rob Roy Irish voice: ‘Hey, listen. If you can’t watch where you’re going I’m going to have to ask you to leave.’”

The pair got to talking and Carole said, “I can’t recall if there was a lull in the conversation, but I do know at one point he leaned in. ‘Would you mind if I kissed you?’ he asked. I said, ‘Sure.’ He kissed me anyway. Not a French kiss, but a longer-than-hello one.”

Carole said after the party she attempted to get into touch with him and finally, after years, she was the bartender on Watch What Happens Live! while Liam was a guest.

Carole concluded, “The swoon had steadied in the time since. I’d met a man twenty years younger, and he crystallized me. He was tall like Liam, and had that same sparkle in his eye. I had to slide over in the taxi and he left his clothes on my floor but he was fun. Liam, I realized, had unexpectedly crystallized something for me—while I desired a manly man, I did not need one. And that, ladies, is a world of difference.”

Last year, Liam made headlines when he reunited with a very famous ex!

Liam Neeson's 'Honest Thief' Stays at No. 1 at Box Office Amid Pandemic

The film saw a 44% decrease from its opening weekend box office, and has brought in a total of $7.5 million in its first 10 days in North America so far. More screens were added to the box office amid the decision to give movie theaters outside of New York City permission to reopen at reduced capacity starting on October 23.

“Our belief was that releasing a crowd-pleaser of a film, like Honest Thief, at this point in time, would generate the positive word-of-mouth necessary to successfully propel the film for many weeks. Back to back weeks at number 1, confirms that belief,” said Tom Ortenberg, CEO of Open Road.

The box office number also reflects one of the lowest-winning weekend totals in theaters during the past two months. Comscore reports that only 49% of movie theater locations are open, with U.S. theaters operating with reduced hours and at reduced capacity with social distancing restrictions.

One theater chain is now doing this to combat the decline in moviegoers amid the pandemic.

The numbers arrive at the same time as Seattle theaters were allowed to open, while New York announced that cinemas outside of New York City could open by following certain criteria for safety.

The movie’s brought in $4.2 million when including Canadian box office grosses.

“Moviegoers, particularly couples, came back to theatres to enjoy Honest Thief in a theatrical environment and were rewarded with a movie rated 88 percent on the audience score from Rotten Tomatoes,” said Tom Ortenberg of Open Road Films.

THR notes that the movie played “particularly well” in Miami, Chicago, San Diego and Atlanta.

AMC just announced something surprising amid the pandemic.

Liam Neeson Auditioned For This Surprising Role in 'The Princess Bride'

Liam Neeson is opening up about his failed audition for the 1987 movie, The Princess Bride.

During his recent interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week, the 68-year-old actor revealed he had gone out for the role of Fezzik, which was ultimately played by Andre the Giant.

“I was quite nervous because I knew this was a big film and stuff. I had met the casting directors in LA,” Liam explained about the audition. “So I go into the office in London, and Rob Reiner looked at me and said ‘He’s not a giant. What height are you?’ I said ‘Six foot four.’ He said, ‘That’s tall, he’s not a giant.’”

Liam added that “there was no ‘hello, thank you.’ So I thought, the next time I see Rob Reiner, I’m going to tell him he was very rude.”

Just last month, the cast of the original movie reunited for a special reason. See what the occasion was here!

Liam Neeson Reacts to Son Micheál Taking His Late Mom Natasha Richardson's Last Name

In 2018, Liam Neeson‘s son Micheál Richardson decided to change his last name to his late mom’s last name.

Micheál, now 25, was only 13 years old when Natasha Richardson tragically died after a ski accident at the age of 45.

“I think he did the right thing. I think it was a lovely homage, a nice gesture and he’s, you know, he’s not saddled with my last name which, I have a certain celebrity status I guess,” Liam explained on Andy Cohen‘s SiriusXM show. “I’d hate for him to be constantly asked, ‘Oh are you Liam Neeson‘s son.’ So, it was a lovely gesture. Natasha’s family, mother and sisters were very touched by it, as indeed I was too.”

The pair star in the film Made in Italy together.

Liam Neeson's Mom Dies at 94, One Day Before His Birthday

Liam Neeson‘s mom Kitty has sadly died at the age of 94.

People reports that Katherine “Kitty” Neeson died on Saturday (June 6) in north Ireland, just one day before Liam‘s 68th birthday.

All Saints Church in Ballymena noted Kitty‘s death during a livestreamed church service that day. Parish Priest Monsignor Paddy Delargy said, “Let us pray for the faithful departed. We pray for those that died recently… and Kitty Neeson. Her funeral arrangements will be later.”

Liam returned home to live with his mom after leaving Queen’s University Belfast in 1971. He worked several jobs in his hometown before becoming an actor, but he later received an honorary doctorate from the school in May 2009. He said he was happy to “finally” tell his mom that he had graduated from the university.

Two months before he received the honorary degree, Liam‘s wife Natasha Richardson tragically died at the age of 45 during a skiing accident.

We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to the Neeson family during this difficult time.

“I hate my Irish butt, okay?” he joked.

In the scene, Liam‘s character falls to the ground with his pants down, exposing his butt, allowing Charlize‘s character to put a flower between his butt cheeks.

“I said to Mark: ‘Mark, this is a sign of our friendship — would you ever do this scene where Charlize Theron puts a daisy in your butt?’ And he said, ‘Sure,’ I gave him a big hug afterwards and said, ‘There’s no f—king way that anybody’s going to see my Irish butt.’”
