Woody Harrelson‘s new movie Triangle of Sadness, which is billed as a social satire, got a warm reception during its premiere at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

The 60-year-old actor was joined at the premiere by co-stars Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean, as well as writer and director Ruben Ostlund, on Saturday (May 21) in Cannes, France.

THR reports that the movie received a more than seven-minute standing ovation.

Triangle of Sadness is about “a fashion model/influencer couple who, after a disaster on a luxury cruise, are left stranded on a desert island with a group of billionaires and a cleaning lady. In the fight for survival, social and financial hierarchies are turned upside down.”

Woody plays the captain of the ship.

Also in attendance at the premiere were models Lily Donaldson, Anja Rubik, and Larsen Thompson.

That same day, Ethan Hawke and wife Ryan were at the Cannes premiere of two chapters of the six-part documentary film titled The Last Movie Stars about Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, which Ethan directed.

Jaime King got decked out in a sequined gown and furry accessories at Pop & Suki‘s nationwide launch with Nordstrom!

The Hart of Dixie star was there to celebrate with co-founders of the accessories brand Poppy Jamie and Suki Waterhouse on Thursday (October 12) at Chateau Marmont’s Bungalow One in Los Angeles.

They were joined by Julianne Hough, Yara Shahidi, Sofia Boutella, Ava Phillippe, Sistine Stallone, Jasmine Sanders, Odessa Young, Paris Hilton, Lily Donaldson, Heather Parry, and Chuck Grant.

Poppy addressed the mostly female crowd saying, “Now, more than ever, it is so important for women to support other women in business and life. I am so lucky that everyday I get to work with my best friend. There is so much power in female friendship and that is what Pop & Suki is all about.”

“About last night ✨ Celebrating my sisters @sukiwaterhouse @poppyjamie launching @popandsuki into Nordstrom’s!” Jaime added on Instagram. “Thanks ladies for letting me be house photographer of the night. … Seeing these women create and love another so purely, the abundance of friendship and joy is powerful. Now is our time. Right now �’�.”

Pop & Suki will be sold at 13 Nordstrom stores and online.

Emily Ratajkowski looks drop-dead gorgeous while making her red carpet appearance at the Loveless premiere held during the 2017 Cannes Film Festival on Thursday (May 18) at Palais des Festival in Cannes, France.

The 25-year-old model and actress walked the carpet with designer Peter Dundas and his life and business partner Evangelo Bousis.

Emily is the second star to wear a creation from Peter‘s upcoming namesake label. The first was Beyonce at the Grammys earlier this year! If you didn’t know, Peter is the former creative director of Roberto Cavalli.

Cara Delevingne looks cool as she attends the trailer viewing party for her upcoming film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets on Monday night (March 27) in Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old model turned actress was joined at the event by BFF models Kendall Jenner and Lily Donaldson along with Jaden Smith.

Bella Hadid struts her way down the runway during the Lanvin fashion show on Wednesday night (March 1) in Paris, France.

The 20-year-old model looked pretty as she slicked her hair back while wearing a gray trench coat over a lace top for the show during Paris Fashion Week.
