Kate Beckinsale‘s gift for her daughter Lily Sheen, 20, is not what you’d traditionally expect!
“So.. getting a pillow made in the shape of your daughter’s boyfriend’s head for when she misses him when she comes home is CUTE,” Kate wrote on Instagram.
However, things didn’t work out quite as well as she planned and didn’t get a chance to give Lily the very personalized gift. Kate continued in her caption, “It arriving the day after she leaves makes you a f-cking PSYCHO who is watching Showtime with a taxidermy of your daughter’s boyfriend’s head. Look for me on true crime shows shortly.”

Kate Beckinsale makes her way out of the studio following an appearance on Good Morning America on Tuesday (October 22) in New York City.
The 46-year-old actress was on the show to promote her new movie Farming and she opened up about her recent Instagram photo that featured herself smelling her daughter Lily‘s socks.
Lily, 20, is currently in college!
“I’m just having a little sniff of one of her socks while she’s away,” Kate explained when Michael Strahan brought up the picture. “Actually, I mainly did that to embarrass her. I said if you leave home, just know I’m going to be going through your underwear drawer, just huffing everything while you’re gone. I won’t be going out I won’t have a life, I’m just going to be smelling your underpants and your socks.”
Kate also said that her daughter keeps her in check.
“I was on a talk show the other night and they were like, ‘Hey, how do you feel about rapping Hamilton? I was like, ‘Well, she never speak to me again. That’d be over.’ I’m trying to behave myself as much as I possibly can. I’d get in trouble,” she said.

Kate Beckinsale posted a very funny text message exchange between her and her daughter Lily, 20.
“Are you doing a lot of cocaine?!?” Kate asked in her message to her daughter.

“um..??” Lily wrote before writing, “i’m doing 0 cocaine. what is happening?? hello??”
“I had a dream you were and i was so mad,” Kate said, which caused Lily to respond back to her mom, writing, “you are a LUNATIC.”

It looks like Kate Beckinsale had a blast on her 45th birthday!
The actress spent time with her ex Michael Sheen and their 19-year-old daughter Lily Sheen while doing goat yoga.
“Best birthday ever,” Kate captioned a slideshow of photos on her Instagram account. “We all prayed that the goat’s blessings would happen on Michael’s mat and they did. Thank you #laughingfrogyoga and #hellocrittercare for such a fun day and also to Billy and Burlap, for knowing instinctively where to friendly fire ❤️❤️❤️.”
Kate also shared a video of her kissing a goat.

The 44-year-old actress posted a video to her Instagram account showing her and Lily, 18, dancing in both a grape costume (Lily) and strawberry costume (Kate).

It looks like Kate Beckinsale is sending her daughter off to college!
The 44-year-old actress was spotted shopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond with Lily, 18, on Saturday (August 26) in New York City.
Kate arrived in the Big Apple the day before and was seen looking chic in a sheer jumpsuit at the airport.
Lily is going to be studying at NYU this fall and she picked up a lot of essentials for her living space during the shopping trip with her mom. We hope she has the best time at school!
