The festival was set up to help the victims of the Woolsey Fire that devastated parts of California, destroying thousands of homes.

Courteney Cox, Demi Moore, Nikki Reed and Johnny Galecki served as presenters while Rita Ora, Linda Perry, Natasha Bedingfield, Robin Thicke, Alanis Morissette, Brandi Carlile, Taylor Hawkins and Angel Haze all the the stage for their own sets.

Katy Perry also served as a performer for the event and even outbid a fan at the charity auction for a date with her boyfriend Orlando Bloom!

Dolly Parton wrote original music for the new Netflix movie Dumplin’ and she’s launching a campaign to earn an Oscar nomination for it!

The legendary singer and the song’s producer Linda Perry performed the song “Girl at the Movies” at a Netflix luncheon on Monday (October 22) at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Dumplin’ star Danielle Macdonald welcomed the pair to the stage

“We’re just happy to be here because we’re actually out politicking trying to get our song heard and maybe get nominated for an award on those Oscars and all that stuff,” Dolly told the crowd (via Variety). “We’re really, really proud of this.”

Dumplin’ will be released on Netflix on November 7.

Freema Agyeman, Jamie Clayton, Brian J. Smith, Toby Onwumere, Tina Desai, and Miguel Angel Silvestre hit the red carpet at a screening of the Sense8 series finale on Thursday (June 7) at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

The actors were joined at the event by special guest Linda Perry, who performed for the audience at the screening.

The series finale is a two-hour episode to wrap up the events in the Netflix series. It was ordered by the streaming service after fans campaigned for the show to be renewed following its cancellation after two seasons.

The finale episode launches on Netflix on June 8.

Jessica‘s brand new kid-friendly eatery is set to officially open to the public on Friday (March 4)!

Linda Perry has taken to her Twitter account to apologize for the previous comments she made about Lady Gaga‘s Oscar nomination.

The songwriter alleged in a series of tweets that Gaga did not actually write the song “Till It Happens to You” and that Diane Warren should have received the sole nomination. She claimed that Gaga was credited as a songwriter just to help it get the nomination and buzz.

“My sincere apologies. I made a mistake to comment. I wasn’t in the room when the #TIHTY was being written,” Linda tweeted. “More importantly, I wish the focus to remain on the great importance of the song and the message of the film.”

Linda was also in contention for a nomination this year for her song “Hands of Love” from the movie Freeheld.

Linda Perry is putting Lady Gaga on blast for supposedly not writing her Oscar nominated song “Til It Happens to You,” despite getting credit for it with the Academy.

The 50-year-old singer called out Gaga, 29, in a series of tweets.

“I’m stating the truth . I credit Diane for writing this song, it is her experience her pain her words. That’s it kids,” Linda said. “If she gave Gaga writing credit it would ensure the support this song needed and deserved. And Gaga knows her power.”

Jessica Simpson throws up a peace sign while posing for a photo with her family at songwriter Linda Perry‘s celebration of her Freeheld song “Hands of Love” on Tuesday (January 5) in Los Angeles.

The 35-year-old entertainer was joined by sister Ashlee Simpson, her husband Eric Johnson, and brother-in-law Evan Ross.

Linda‘s wife Sara Gilbert was also in attendance along with her The Talk co-hosts Julie Chen (and husband Les Moonves), Aisha Tyler, and Sharon Osbourne.
