Elizabeth Olsen Goes Ravishing in Red for 'Love & Death' Premiere with Co-Star Jesse Plemons

Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemons are stepping out for the premiere of their new HBO Max limited series!

The two co-stars posed for photos as they arrived at the premiere of Love & Death on Wednesday (April 26) held at the Directors Guild Of America in Los Angeles.

Jesse was supported at the premiere by his wife Kirsten Dunst.

Fellow cast members in attendance Lily Rabe with longtime love Hamish Linklater, Patrick Fugit, Krysten Ritter, Keir Gilchrist, Elizabeth Marvel, Beth Broderick, Richard C. Jones, Olivia Applegate, and Adam Cooper.

Kaley Cuoco also marked her return to the red carpet after giving birth to daughter Matilda to support boyfriend Tom Pelphrey, who also appears in the series.

Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, & Lily Rabe Attend 'Love & Death' Screening at SXSW 2023

Elizabeth Olsen is hitting the red carpet at a screening of her new HBO Max series.

The 34-year-old Emmy-nominated actress attended a screening of Love & Death held during the 2023 SXSW Conference and Festivals on Saturday (March 11) at The Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas.

Fellow cast members joining Elizabeth at the screening included Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe, and Patrick Fugit.

The show’s creator David E. Kelly and writer Lesli Linka Glatter were also in attendance.

Jesse Plemons Joins HBO Max Series 'Love & Death' with Elizabeth Olsen!

Jesse Plemons has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max series Love and Death!

The limited series will also star Elizabeth Olsen and it follows “two church going couples, enjoying small town family life in Texas, until somebody picks up an axe.”

Love and Death is based on the true story of Texas housewife Candy Montgomery, who murdered her friend from church, Betty Gore, with an axe in 1980. Elizabeth is playing Candy!

Big Little Lies and Big Sky creator David E. Kelley will write the series and Lesli Linka Glatter will direct. One of the executive producers is Nicole Kidman!

“This is a gripping story about the frustrations and desires of two women in a small town that culminates in a terrible act of violence. We are thrilled to be partnering with David, Lesli, Nicole, and Per and incredibly fortunate to have Elizabeth at the center of our story to bring out all the layers of Candy that make this story so unforgettable,” HBO Max’s Sarah Aubrey said in a statement.

Elizabeth Olsen To Star in HBO Max Series Based on Axe Murderer Candy Montgomery

Elizabeth Olsen will be starring in HBO Max’s Love and Death, Variety is reporting.

The 32-year-old actress will take on the role of Candy Montgomery in the series from David E. Kelley, which will be executive produced by Nicole Kidman and Per Saari for Blossom Films and Scott Brown and Megan Creydt for Texas Monthly, as well as Matthew Tinker, Michael Klick and Helen Verno.

Love and Death is based on the true story of Texas housewife Candy Montgomery, who murdered her friend from church, Betty Gore, with an axe in 1980.
