Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger are sharing a special family moment.

The 41-year-old Guardians of the Galaxy star and the 31-year-old author posed for a sweet selfie with their newborn baby Lyla in a post on Katherine‘s Instagram on Thursday (December 31).

“Closing out 2020 with a quiet beach walk (and a first beach experience for one of us ) 💫,” she captioned the sweet post, which featured a peek at Lyla‘s head.

The little girl’s full name is Lyla Maria, and it seems that the couple decided to name their baby girl after Katherine‘s mom Maria Shriver!

Chris Pratt is giving fans an inside look at the holidays at his home!

The 41-year-old actor shared videos of his family watching Christmas Eve mass at home. Included in the videos on Instagram Stories were Chris‘ wife Katherine Schwarzenegger and their four-month-old daughter Lyla.

Chris hid Lyla‘s face in the video by placing a heart emoji over her body.

“Gotta shout out Monsignor Torgerson at St Monica’s for welcoming everyone to mass this Xmas eve. Merry Christmas Eve!” Chris wrote on his stories. “Get you some mass!!”

Chris added, “Come as you are. Jesus died for the sins of everyone. No matter who you are.”

Earlier this week, Chris commented on the “Who’s the Best Chris” debate that erupted online this year, comparing him to the other Chris actors from the Marvel universe.

Katherine Schwarzenegger is loving life as a mom!

The 31-year-old author took to her Instagram Story on Saturday (December 19) to show off her new jewelry with her daughter Lyla‘s name on it.

“I clearly am obsessed with putting my daughter’s name on everything,” Katherine wrote while showing off her two new necklaces from Zoe Lev with her four-month-old daughter’s name on them.

Katherine and husband Chris Pratt welcomed Lyla back in August. She is the first child for the couple. The 41-year-old actor is also dad to son Jack, 8, whom he shares with ex-wife Anna Faris.

Katherine also recently called Lyla the “silver lining” amid this crazy year.

Katherine Schwarzenegger is celebrating her first Christmas a mom!

The 31-year-old author took to her Instagram on Friday (December 11) to reflect on welcoming daughter Lyla with husband Chris Pratt during the pandemic.

“While this Holiday season will look different for us all, this little ornament my sister Christina got us, and the experience of our daughters first Christmas is a big silver lining of joy and light for me,” Katherine wrote. “2020 has been a crazy year, it’s not what any of us expected; it’s been filled with a lot of challenging times and unpredictable twists and turns. It has also been a year of immense joy for those of us who have welcomed life into the world.”

Katherine and the 41-year-old actor welcomed Lyla back in August. She is the first child for the couple, while Chris shares son Jack, 8, with ex-wife Anna Faris.

“Being pregnant in a pandemic and having a baby too, was not how I expected my pregnancy and becoming a mother to go, but i couldn’t be more thrilled and grateful to have my little Lyla Maria in my life and to be able to be her mom,” Katherine continued. “Shout out to all the people who had babies this year, became pregnant, are pregnant, or are trying to get pregnant. It’s a wild time to embark on this journey of motherhood and I see you! 🙏”

A source is speaking out about how Anna Faris congratulated her ex husband Chris Pratt on the birth of daughter Lyla with Katherine Schwarzenegger.

“Anna congratulated them and sent a gift,” a source told E! News. “They are on good terms and have a nice relationship. She’s happy for Jack to be a big brother and is very supportive.”

The 41-year-old Jurassic World actor revealed that the little girl’s name is Lyla Maria.

“We are beyond thrilled to announce the birth of our daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt. We couldn’t be happier. Both mom and baby are doing great. We are extremely blessed. Love Katherine and Chris,” the couple said in a message posted on his Instagram account.

It seems that the couple decided to name their baby girl after Katherine‘s mom Maria Shriver!

Chris included these two bible quotes in his post: “Psalm 126:3 The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” and “Psalm 127:3-4 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.”
