Famed director Martin Scorsese is working on a Frank Sinatra biopic, and he’s looking to reunite with one of his favorite stars, Leonardo DiCaprio, for the picture.
Sources have shared with Variety that Leonardo would play the famed crooner with Jennifer Lawrence eyed for Frank‘s second wife, actress Ava Gardner. Jennifer and Leonardo worked together on 2021′s Don’t Look Up.
However, the project isn’t officially full steam ahead as there’s a snag.

We’re just one month away from the 2024 Oscars and all of the nominees stepped out to celebrate their achievements together at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon!
Margot Robbie, Emma Stone, Emily Blunt, and so many more A-List stars were in attendance to mingle with fellow nominees on Monday afternoon (February 12) at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Only three of the acting nominees – Robert De Niro, Danielle Brooks, and Jodie Foster – were missing from the event. 17 out of the 20 nominated actors attended!
Every year at the luncheon, a “class photo” is taken with each nominated star called up to the stage one by one. The stars who are called up first have to stand in their spot and wait for every other person to be announced before the photo is taken!

Martin Scorsese is spying some UFOs in Squarespace’s 2024 Super Bowl commercial!
The 81-year-old legendary filmmaker appeared in the ad, which sees aliens land on Earth.
Masses of people look on as giant flying saucers occupied by aliens permeate the sky. Everyone then gets a message reading: “Hello Down There” on their phone.
Toward the end of the commercial, Martin appears seated in the backseat of a car. He receives the message from the aliens on his tablet, then looks out his window at the UFOs.
“I told you to take Broadway. This always happens!” he tells the driver.
We love to see Martin being so relatable during a crisis!
