Megan Mullally is paying tribute to Ellen DeGeneres.

The Will & Grace star made an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday (April 4).

During her appearance, Megan opened up for the first time about her mother’s recent passing. She said that while she wasn’t able to bring herself to leave her home, she “Marie Kondo‘d” every room.

She also thanked Ellen for paving the way for shows like Will & Grace and revealed that in the season finale, they will pay homage to Ellen’s groundbreaking episode of Ellen when her character, Ellen Morgan, came out as gay.

The Will & Grace actress debuted a shorter red hairstyle on the red carpet at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hosted by Radhika Jones at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday (February 24) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

“gettin ready @makeupmatthew @jrugg8 #oscars #rockabilly,” Megan wrote on her Instagram before the party.

Season 10 of Will & Grace is currently airing. The season first premiered on October 4, 2018, and a new season with 18 episodes is also in the works.

Megan Mullally stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers on Wednesday (January 30) and dished about getting to chat with Lady Gaga backstage at the 2019 SAG Awards, which she hosted.

“I went backstage right after the monologue and she was standing there and was like, ‘oh my god, that was so great – you’re so funny and blah blah blah’,” the 60-year-old Will & Grace star recalled.

“She was super nice, like really normal and nice,” Megan continued. “I was like, ‘oh good, thank you, you’re the real thing, and with Tony Bennett – like no one’s ever told her she could sing.’”

Megan also talked about showing off her vocal chops on Will & Grace, the book she wrote with her husband Nick Offerman, “The Greatest Love Story Ever Told: An Oral History,” and why she dropped out of Northwestern University – Watch more after the cut!

Megan Mullally is hosting the show – and getting in some funny digs!

The Will & Grace actress hosted the 2019 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 27) in Los Angeles.

“To SAG nominee, the beautiful Emma Stone, who just turned 30… our condolences. You had a great run, like a really great run, extra-extra good, but we’re looking forward to your reverse-mortgage loan commercials, chin up, good,” she said.

She also poked fun at several other stars, including Lady Gaga, who’s “been doing my eyeliner for the last 15 years,” Glenn Close, who “played a wife, so that’s new” and Emily Blunt “who played a mom who wasn’t allowed to speak…roles for women continued to break new ground,” she deadpanned.

“Hollywood did manage to get a few things right: They cast black people in Black Panther, so that was good… Asian people in Crazy Rich Asians. And a green book in Green Book. You know there were some executives saying, ‘Um, could the book be white?’”

Megan Mullally decided to buy her dress for the 2019 SAG Awards online after she said she couldn’t find a designer to make a dress for her.

The 60-year-old Will & Grace is the host of the event and she walked the red carpet before the show on Sunday (January 27) in Los Angeles.

“I always pick out clothes online and buy my own stuff because first of all I like it because I can just wear what I want to wear but also the major designers are not interested in sending me any dresses,” Megan told Access Hollywood on the carpet.

“Alexander McQueen did send two dresses but they didn’t work out, but this is an Alexander McQueen dress that I bought online,” she added. “I said I am literally hosting. There is a 100 percent chance that I will be on camera. But people were like, ‘No, no thanks.’”

“But that’s ok. I think it’s funny but I think it’s interesting for people to know that because I think everybody in the general public thinks well everybody is getting dresses thrown at them left and right, but that’s not actually the case,” she said.

There are some familiar faces on the latest episode of The Bachelor – fan-favorite couple Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman!

The two stars helped coach eight ladies on Colton Underwood‘s first group date, during which the women had to tell personal stories about their “firsts” in front of a live audience.

Megan and Nick are longtime fans of the franchise and she opened up last summer about how they were asked to make an appearance on Bachelor in Paradise.
