A judge ruled on who would maintain custody of Aaron Carter‘s son Prince.
The late star and his fiancee Melanie Martin lost custody of their 1-year-old son in September 2022. Melanie‘s mother was taking care of the child at that time.
However, Melanie was reportedly granted custody again on Thursday (December 15) by a Los Angeles court.

Aaron Carter‘s fiancee Melanie Martin issued a scathing response to the late star’s manager.

Melanie Martin, the fiancee of the late Aaron Carter, is speaking out again following the singer’s tragic death.
Aaron died at the age of 34 over the weekend and it’s suspected that he might have drowned in his bathtub, as that’s where he was found.
Melanie took to TikTok shortly after Aaron‘s death and posted a two-second video of herself sobbing while seemingly driving to his house. The app put a disclaimer on the clip, “Participating in this activity could result in you or others getting hurt.” She also shared a short statement with the press right after the tragic moment.

Melanie Martin, the fiancee of the late Aaron Carter, has released a statement following his tragic death at the age of 34.
Aaron was found dead in the bathtub of his California home on Saturday morning (November 5) and foul play is not suspected as of this time, according to initial reports.
The former child star was known for songs like “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It)” and “I Want Candy.” He also acted on Lizzie McGuire, appeared in the House of Carters reality series, and competed on Dancing With the Stars. His fifth and final album, LOVE, was released in 2018.
Aaron and Melanie were in an on-and-off relationship for years and they shared a one-year-old son named Prince. Just a couple months ago, Aaron gave an interview in which he talked about going to rehab in an attempt to regain custody of his son.
