Apple TV+ has released the first pics from their upcoming period drama series, The Buccaneers.

The regency-set series will star Christina Hendricks, Kristine Froseth, Alisha Boe, Josie Totah, Aubri Ibrag, Imogen Waterhouse, and Mia Threapleton.

Here’s the official description of the show: The Buccaneers are the daughters of America’s new rich — beautiful and untameable, despite the best efforts of England’s finest governesses, they are on their way to London to snare themselves an aristocrat, low in funds but high in class, to make a perfect match.

Josh Dylan, Guy Remmers, Matthew Broome and Barney Fishwick will also star in the series.

The Buccaneers is based on Edith Wharton‘s unfinished final novel of the same name, and the first three episodes will debut on Wednesday, November 8.

Following the premiere of those episodes, there will be a new episode weekly, until the December 13 finale.

Kate Winslet and Mia Threapleton make one striking mother and daughter duo!

The two actresses were spotted on the red carpet together for the 2023 BAFTA Television Awards held at the Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (May 14) in London, England.

Kate, who won the Leading Actress award, and Mia were joined by series producers Josh Hyams, Richard Yee, and Krishnendu Majumdar, and director Dominic Savage.

The I Am… series also picked up the Best Drama award as well. You can see the full winners list on Just Jared now.

Mia and Kate‘s red carpet appearance is a rare one, as this marks the first instance that the two have been pictured together.

In a recent interview, Kate opened up about how impressed and “blown away” she was by working with Mia on the project.

Kate Winslet is opening up about her actress daughter, Mia Threapleton, in a new interview.

The 45-year-old Mare of Easttown star opened up about how Mia, now 20, isn’t recognized as her daughter at all.

“[She's] 20 and acting,” Kate shared during her appearance on Lorraine. “She’s away now in the Czech Republic about to start on a TV series over there.”

She continued that she “knew [it] was coming, I always suspected,” of Mia following in her footsteps. “And then a few years ago she turned around and said, ‘I’d like to give it a go.’”

“What’s great for her is she has a different surname so she slipped under the radar and the people who cast her didn’t know she was my daughter and that was important for her self-esteem, of course,” Kate added.

Kate Winslet smiles wide as her son Joe skateboards down the street on Thursday (November 3) in New York City.

The 36-year-old actress walked hand-in-hand with her new beau Ned Rocknroll, who looked giddy as he spent quality time with kids Joe and Mia.
