Michael Buble‘s latest holiday special is airing TONIGHT (December 6) on NBC and there are going to be several celebrity guests throughout the evening.

Michael Buble’s Christmas in the City was filmed at the famous Studio 8H in Rockefeller Center in New York City. The network is promising a mix of comedy, music, special guests, and the spirit of Christmas.

“I’m especially excited about this year’s show and our phenomenal guests,” Michael said in a statement. “It will be a night to remember and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone.”

Michael Buble is sharing his thoughts about the music industry’s future after the coronavirus pandemic.

The 45-year old musician told ET Canada in an interview on Wednesday (January 20), “There’s as great or greater hunger for music than there’s ever been.”

“There’s a necessity. I mean, music brings us together in uncertain times. It always has, it always will,” he continued.

Michael added that once it’s safe and people have been vaccinated, he hopes the music industry will be able to return in full force. “It gets down to a very basic level in humanity. Humans are not supposed to be alone,” he said.

He continued, “When we look back, I hope that we learned so many valuable lessons about about how to treat each other, how to love each other, and I hope we learn about mercy.”

Luisana Lopilato is opening up about how husband Michael Buble was recieving death threats after their Instagram Live video went viral.

In a new interview, Luisana shared that since the video spread quickly, there have been many death threats directed at Michael.

“We received a lot of love from people but you wouldn’t believe the amount of people who sent me photos with weapons saying they were going to kill Mike when he reached Argentina, photos of knives from people laughing and saying they were going to cut off his fingers, leave a bomb for us or give him a beating,” Hello magazine reports that Luisana shared on the Argentinian TV show Intrusos.

She added, “It made me afraid and I still feel a little bit frightened.”

The video showed Michael apparently jabbing Luisana with his elbow and fans immediately reacted to the movement.

While there were threats, Luisana did add that there were “positive messages we received outnumbered them but I am worried for my family. I suffered a lot with what happened…it caused Mike a lot of pain too.”

“He loves Argentina and he loves being with me in Argentina when I’m working. He loves the friends he has in Argentina. … Mike is a gentleman who is always concerned with trying to make me even more happy than I already am.”

Michael‘s rep also reacted to the outrage over the video, calling it a failed attempt at cyberbullying.

A rep for Michael Buble is speaking out in response to the controversy caused by a video from his Instagram Live session with wife Luisana Lopilato.

Fans voiced their concern for Luisana, 32, after Michael, 44, nudged her in the side with his elbow in the video. She spoke out and defended their marriage against the online chatter.

Now, Michael‘s rep is speaking out as well.

“Anyone who watches them on Facebook live every day can see that this is a beautiful partnership filled with love,” the rep told E! News. The rep added that the allegations are “a failed effort of cyber bullying” against the couple.

Every day we go out with my husband to do lives to bring you a little joy, entertainment and we have to listen and see what malicious people publish without knowing anything about our family,” she wrote, which has been translated to English by Hello. “I want you to know that I have no doubts who my husband is and I would choose him a thousand times over!! It’s not fair! This person is doing harm and taking advantage of this pandemic where people are suffering, dying to have fame and more followers.”

“[These are] lies that I will not allow because [it] disrespects my family, so I ask you, who have trusted me so much over the years, that you do not allow it either! Without more to say and doing what I think is right when they mess with my family, I leave the consequences to God! The world needs more than ever ‘love, hope, values, unity and solidarity’ NOT these types of people,” she added.
