Meet the new creature from Guillermo del Toro‘s world in the trailer for The Shape of Water!

The movie is set against the backdrop of Cold War era America circa 1963. In the hidden high-security government laboratory where she works, lonely Elisa (Sally Hawkins) is trapped in a life of silence and isolation. Elisa’s life is changed forever when she and co-worker Zelda (Octavia Spencer) discover a secret classified experiment. Michael Shannon, Richard Jenkins, Michael Stuhlbarg and Doug Jones are also featured in the film.

Look out for the movie, in theaters on December 8.

Armie Hammer is shutting down rumors that he is set to star as the Green Lantern!

While promoting his new film Call Me By Your Name at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival on Sunday (January 22), the 33-year-old actor addressed the reports that he is on a shortlist of actors who DC Entertainment is considering for the role of Hal Jordan in Green Lantern Corps.

“I saw the reporting too,” Armie told TheWrap during an interview in Park City, Utah. “That’s the first I’ve heard of it.”

That same day, Armie stopped by the Creators League Studio before joining his co-stars Timothee Chalamet, Michael Stuhlbarg, film editor Walter Fasano, and writer-director Luca Guadagnino at the premiere of Call Me By Your Name held at the Eccles Center Theatre.

Ewan McGregor is set to star in the upcoming third season of FX’s anthology series Fargo and he’s opening up about his multiple roles on the show!

The 45-year-old actor appeared alongside co-stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Carrie Coon, Michael Stuhlbarg, and David Thewlis at the 2017 Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour panel on Thursday (January 12) at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.

Ewan revealed during the panel that he plays two roles on the show and they are not twins, but they are brothers. “I’m doing the ‘Fargo’-y accent,” he told the critics. “It’s the hardest accent I’ve ever done, and I did a Dutch one once.”

The third season of Fargo will debut in April!

Jessica Chastain is opening up about the gender pay gap in Hollywood.

The Oscar-nominated actress was asked about it during a recent interview.

“I love the article that Jennifer Lawrence wrote about the pay gap – I thought it was so important,” Jessica told Business Insider. “I love that people are talking about it. It makes sense that journalists are asking actresses and actors about it because, seriously, producers aren’t the ones doing press.”

Jessica also said, “For me, I’m not in an industry where I’m starving. I’m so lucky to have this job, I’m compensated for my work in an incredible way. But what I do ask is when I join a production I want to make sure that the male actor isn’t making four times my salary, which has been true, or seven times my salary. And if that’s true you go, you know what, I don’t need this job. It’s not really asking for more – it’s asking for something that is respectable and equal to the male actor and you have to go, why are women being valued less?”

Ethan Hawke has some thoughts about President-elect Donald Trump!

“In general, the artistic community thrives when fascists are in charge. So the only upside is that people in the arts now are motivated,” the 46-year-old actor recently told THR.

“Look the upset around the Nixon administration and the Vietnam War and what happened with music,” Ethan added. “And the films of the 1960s and ’70s are still seen as a high-water mark. People who cherish equality and fairness, who celebrate the diversity and the human spirit in all people, are feeling punched in the gut.”

Last night (November 27), Ethan got support from his Reality Bites co-star Winona Ryder while attending a special screening of his film Born to be Blue alongside director Robert Budreau at The Roxy Hotel in New York City.

Also in attendance to show their support for the upcoming film was Michael Stuhlbarg, Celia Weston and Paul Haggis.

Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner flash big grins while attending the premiere of their upcoming movie Arrival held at Roy Thomson Hall on Monday (September 12) during the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival in Toronto, Canada.
