A second Downton Abbey movie is currently in the works and Focus Features has announced a new release date for the film.
The movie was previously dated for a Christmas 2021 release, but now it has been pushed back to 2022.
All of the original principal cast members have returned for the next movie and new cast additions include Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Nathalie Baye and Dominic West.

Michelle Dockery and Sienna Miller have been cast in Netflix’s new series, Anatomy Of A Scandal.
Deadline reports that the two actresses will star opposite Rupert Friend in the show, from David E. Kelley and Melissa James Gibson.
Production is set to start later this year in London with S.J. Clarkson directing the show, which is a six-part series about a scandal among the British privileged elite.
The book by Sarah Vaughan centered on a Westminster politician whose marriage unravels when he is accused of rape. Sophie is sure her husband is innocent, while prosecutor Kate is equally convinced he is guilty.
Sienna will play Sophie Whitehouse, the wife of the politician, and an Oxford graduate and a mother of two whose perfectly charmed life is about to implode. Rupert will play James, the accused.
Michelle is set to take on the role of prosecutor Kate Woodcroft, QC, a steely criminal barrister specializing in prosecuting sexual crimes who’s risen quickly in her field, and just got handed the case of a lifetime.

The 40-year-old Outlander actress and the 38-year-old Downtown Abbey star were joined at the event by Maude Apatow, Zoey Deutch, Lake Bell, D’Arcy Carden, Logan Browning, Hunter Schafer, Sydney Sweeney and Baby2Baby co-presidents Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein.

InStyle editor-in-chief Laura Brown hosted the dinner in celebration of the accomplishments and life’s of hardworking women.

Apple TV+ has released two first-look photos of their upcoming thriller series Defending Jacob!
The new show starring Chris Evans, Michelle Dockery, and Jaeden Martell will be premiering the first three episodes starting on Friday, April 24, with new episodes debuting every Friday thereafter.
Here’s the show’s synopsis: Defending Jacob is a limited drama series that unfolds around a shocking crime that rocks a small Massachusetts town, and follows an Assistant District Attorney who finds himself torn between his sworn duty to uphold justice, and his unconditional love for his son.
J.K. Simmons, Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel and Sakina Jaffrey also appear in the show.
