Kiernan Shipka and Jaz Sinclair strike a pose inside the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina screening event at the Roxy Hotel on Wednesday night (April 3) in New York City.

The two actresses were joined by co-stars Michelle Gomez, Gavin Leatherwood and Ross Lynch for the Entertainment Weekly and Netflix hosted event.

Speaking with Collider recently, Kiernan revealed why the Sabrina and Nick relationship just makes more sense for season two.

“I think that Sabrina needs a warlock in the second season to help her get done a lot of the things that she needs to get done,” she shared. “She does most of the things on her own anyway, but her support system is largely coming from the witch side in the second season.”

Kiernan added, “I think Nick is one of the few witches or warlocks that believes in her and that has her back, and that doesn’t look down on her and think less of her.”

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina premieres Friday, April 5th on Netflix.

Season two of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is on its way!

The second installment of the Netflix series is set to debut on April 5, and now we have the full official trailer.

Part 2 finds Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) exploring her darker side, curious to learn more about her heritage, while struggling to maintain her friendships in the mortal world. Romantically, Sabrina is caught in an unholy love triangle with between sexy warlock Nicholas Scratch and salt-of-the-Earth mortal Harvey Kinkle. Meanwhile, The Dark Lord, Madame Satan, and Father Blackwood continue to conjure chaos in the Spellman household and the town of Greendale. And they aren’t the only ones trying to raise hell. Everything is in question…relationships, identity, true intentions…when the devil’s work is at hand.

The young stars were joined at the event by co-stars Jaz Sinclair, Michelle Gomez, Chance Perdomo, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Richard Coyle, Tati Gabrielle, Bronson Pinchot, Adeline Rudolph, Abigail Cowen, Justin Dobies, Lachlan Watson, and Gavin Leatherwood.

Riverdale stars Vanessa Morgan and Madelaine Petsch, with boyfriend Travis Mills, were also there, as was series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

The premiere featured a spooky seance and an after party at the “Spellman House.” The series will launch globally on Netflix on Friday, October 26.

The young stars were joined by co-stars Miranda Otto, Lucy Davis, Michelle Gomez, and Chance Perdomo, as well as series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. They all stopped by IMDb’s studio at the event for an interview.

During the panel, Kiernan opened up about the iconic character of Salem the cat.

“I feel like the ‘90s sitcom Salem is so iconic: He’s a meme! He’s sassy Salem! So we did something different,” she said. “We have three cats playing Salem: Shaq, Boomer, and Edward. The vibe is hard to describe if you haven’t seen the show.”

The 18-year-old actress joined co-stars Ross Lynch, Jaz Sinclair and Michelle Gomez in and around a movie theater to shoot new scenes for the upcoming Netflix series.

Earlier in the day, Kiernan and Ross were spotted holding hands and shooting some of their first scenes as Sabrina and Harvey in an alleyway.

The series will see Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature as a half-witch, half-mortal while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family, and the daylight world humans inhabit.

Jenna Coleman joins Peter Capaldi at the Doctor Who panel during 2015 Comic-Con held at the San Diego Convention Center on Thursday afternoon (July 9) in San Diego, Calif.

The 29-year-old actress and Peter joined Michelle Gomez, who plays Missy, at the event where they debuted the new trailer for the upcoming season, which premieres on September 19th.
