Dwayne Johnson is gearing up for a Fast & Furious comeback!
After making a cameo in the newly released Fast X, the 51-year-old actor announced that he had signed on to star in a spinoff featuring his character Luke Hobbs.
In the process of announcing the “long-awaited” project, he referenced his former feud with co-star Vin Diesel and revealed how his movie was going to fit within the franchise.

James Gunn, one of the new heads of DC, is reportedly starting to make short lists and see auditions for the upcoming DC Ujaniverse film. Screen tests are reportedly expected to begin in the next few weeks and hopefully, we’ll have a cast list soon!

Disney’s live action movies are huge money makers!
From the ’90s to today, Disney has released 17 live action movies, and there are so many more on the way.
The latest is The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey. According to Deadline, the movie brought in $117.5 million domestically and $163.8 million globally in its opening weekend.
The movie’s box office was at the center of some controversy ahead of its premiere. Why? Aladdin star Mena Massoud made some comments comparing the unreleased movie to the one he starred in.
In particular, he implied that The Little Mermaid wouldn’t make more than $1 billion at the global box office like Aladdin did.
