Bad Bunny will make his acting debut in Narcos: Mexico!
The 26-year-old “Yo Perreo Sola” singer will play Arturo “Kitty” Paez, a member of the Narco Juniors gang, headed by Ramon Arellano Felix (Manuel Masalva) in the show’s third season, according to Rolling Stone.
The gang is comprised of “rich, well-connected kids from upper society who fell in with the cartel life for the money, drugs, and violence,” according to the press release.
Bad Bunny first revealed the news in a Rolling Stone interview back in May, explaining that he was shooting scenes earlier in the year before being forced to pause due to the pandemic.
Season 3 will focus on “the war that breaks out after Felix’s empire splinters. As newly independent cartels struggle to survive political upheaval and escalating violence, a new generation of Mexican kingpins emerge. But in this war, truth is the first casualty — and every arrest, murder, and take-down only pushes real victory further away.”
He recently paid tribute to a fellow superstar while voting on Election Day.
