Nyle DiMarco is putting his own spin on Ariana Grande‘s “7 Rings” music video!

The 29-year-old model and deaf activist made an ASL version of the video, captions and signing included. Nyle recently criticized Vevo for not including captions on Ariana‘s video for “Thank U Next.”

“You earn more than 650 mill per year and can’t even add captions to @ArianaGrande’s #ThankUNextVideo. There ARE closed caption services that will cost you ONLY $6 (or less) to INSTANTLY appeal to a wider audience. There are 466mill people with hearing loss,” he said at the time.

The “7 Rings” video was directed by Jake Wilson, who has recreated some other music videos in the past!

Dane Cook made a very bad “joke” and former DWTS winner and model Nyle DiMarco is calling him out for it.

“When a deaf person wakes up late for work do they loudly sign ‘F*** MEEEEE’ to themselves as they hastily get ready?” Dane tweeted, eventually deleting the tweet.

Nyle, who is deaf, called him out, writing, “thank u, next.” He also saved a screengrab of the tweet, and reposted it on his Twitter account. See it below.

Nyle recently called out this popular Netflix movie for their portrayal of a character pretending to be deaf.

The new Netflix movie Sierra Burgess Is a Loser, starring Shannon Purser and Noah Centineo, is being criticized for their portrayal of a character pretending to be deaf.

Model, activist, and past DWTS winner Nyle DiMarco, who is deaf in real life, took to Twitter to speak to the issue.

“So one of my close friends’ deaf brother is in Sierra Burgess When I learned, I was elated. Finally more deaf actors/representation & ASL inclusion in films … Only to find out the deaf character was written and used for a terrible joke. PS- pretending to be deaf is NOT ok,” Nyle tweeted over the weekend. “There were homophobic and transphobic jokes as well.”

“It is extremely easy to make jokes about marginalized/disfranchised groups … but that makes you a lazy writer,” he continued. “And honestly you shouldn’t make these jokes AT ALL because our lives are on the line.”

The 34-year-old businesswoman joined the 29-year-old America’s Next Top Model winner and the 35-year-old Orange Is the New Black actress at the event held at Radio City Music Hall on Monday (August 20) in New York City.

Nicky wore a tiered, off-the-shoulder black and white mini dress, white pumps with bows, dangling diamond earrings, and a glittery round clutch.

Dascha turned heads in a see-through lace halter dress with silver accessories and eyeshadow, and Nyle looked sharp in a blue shirt with a stylish blazer.

They were joined by Ken Jeong, Victor Cruz, and girlfriend Karrueche Tran.

On the visibility of others: “There is a massive number of people, groups of people, who are not being heard or who are overlooked. Despite the power of social media, which could be a useful tool to educate people, we’ve become so divided and so afraid to open up, listen, and communicate. We need to start listening to each other.”

On supporting the hard of hearing in the LGBTQ community: “How can 466 million people with hearing loss join in on that conversation and find their ‘identity’ if they are denied access to what they’re saying? Often there are not interpreters at Pride events for Deaf LGBTQ people and allies. The best solution is to have Deaf and people with disabilities involved in organizing Pride events.”
