Original 'Heartstopper' Star Exits Show Ahead of Third Season, Jokes About a Spinoff Series

Fans of Heartstopper got some very sad casting news!

The popular Netflix series, starring Kit Connor and Joe Locke, began production on its third season back in October 2023. They wrapped things up a few months later. However, there are still some questions about which actors will be returning to the project.

On Wednesday (March 28) one of the show’s original actors confirmed that they would not be able to return and explained why. They also jokingly responded to a call for a spinoff series centered on their character.

Full 'Wonka' Movie Cast Joins Timothee Chalamet at London Red Carpet Premiere (Photos)

The full cast of the new movie Wonka stepped out for the world premiere event!

Timothee Chalamet was joined by the full main cast for the red carpet event on Tuesday night (November 28) at Royal Festival Hall in London, England.

Also in attendance were Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Olivia Colman, Hugh Grant, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Tom Davis, and Tracy Ifeachor.

Based on the extraordinary character at the center of Roald Dahl‘s book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” Wonka tells the wondrous story of how the world’s greatest inventor, magician and chocolate-maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.

The movie hits theaters on December 15!

Timothee Chalamet & 'Wonka' Co-Stars Promote Film During Rainy London Photo Call

Timothee Chalamet poses for photos with his Wonka co-stars Olivia Colman and Hugh Grant at the film’s photo call at Potters Field on Monday (November 27) in London, England.

Also in attendance at the event were cast members Calah Lane, Rowan Atkinson, Sally Hawkins, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, and more. Jamie Dornan Joins More British Stars for Choose Love Pop-Up Shop Opening

Jamie Dornan is one of several British stars who showed up to support Choose Love this week!

The 41-year-old actor was joined by celebs like Olivia Colman and Lily James while attending the launch of the charity’s pop-up shop for Help Refugees on Wednesday (November 22) on Carnaby Street in London, England.

Also in attendance were Saltburn actor Archie Madekwe, as well as Pearl Mackie, Dawn O’Porter, and Dermot O’Leary.

Choose Love does “whatever it takes to provide refugees and displaced people with everything from lifesaving search and rescue boats to food and legal advice.”

At the shop, you can purchase “essential and life-saving supplies from warm clothing to hot meals to mental health care support, for displaced people who need them.” The shop is open until December 24.

Every Season of 'The Crown' Ranked From Worst to Best (Including Just-Released Season 6)

The Crown‘s sixth and final season is finally here, and the reviews are in!

The Emmy-winning Netflix series chronicles the history of the British royal family beginning from the onset of Queen Elizabeth II‘s reign in the 1950s.

The Crown is unique among popular TV shows in that it casts new actors every two seasons to reflect the changing ages of its characters, as each season takes place a decade later than the last.

Lead actors include Claire Foy and Matt Smith, who portrayed the Queen and Prince Philip in seasons 1 and 2. The pair were succeeded by Olivia Colman and Tobias Menzies in seasons 3 and 4. Imelda Staunton and Jonathan Pryce starred in seasons 5 and 6.

Among other notable cast members are Emma Corrin and Elizabeth Debicki, who played Princess Diana in seasons 4 and 5 respectively, and Josh O’Connor and Dominic West, who portrayed the future King Charles in seasons 4 and 5.

With season 6 now streaming on Netflix, here are all of the Rotten Tomatoes scores in order from worst to best.

FYI: If you don’t know, Rotten Tomatoes ranks a movie “fresh,” when “at least 60% of reviews for a movie or TV show are positive,” and ranks a movie “certified fresh” with “a steady Tomatometer score of 75% or higher,” and “at least five reviews from Top Critics,” among other qualifiers.
