Oona Chaplin is one of the actors joining the Avatar franchise in the upcoming third film and her role has finally been announced!

The 36-year-old actress, best known for playing Talisa Maegyr on Game of Thrones, was previously announced as a cast member back in 2017.

When her casting was announced, it was revealed that she would play “Varang, a strong and vibrant central character who spans the entire length of the installments.” Over five and a half years later, we finally have some new details on Oona‘s character!

Edgar Ramirez and Darren Criss buddy up on the red carpet for the FX Network 2017 All-Star Upfront on Thursday (April 6) at the SVA Theater in New York City.

The handsome actors were joined at the event by American Crime Story co-stars Sarah Paulson and Cuba Gooding Jr along with Fargo star Ewan McGregor.

Edgar and Darren are both set to star in the upcoming third season of American Crime Story focusing on the murder of designer Gianni Versace.

Tom Hardy‘s new series Taboo is getting ready to premiere on FX and he helped promote the show at the 2017 Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour on Thursday (January 12) at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena, Calif.

The 39-year-old actor was joined by co-stars Michael Kelly, Oona Chaplin, and David Hayman.

Tom explained that he decided to do the show because he wanted to play the character so badly. He opened up about trying to get creator Steven Knight to work on the show with him and dad Chips Hardy.

“We begged Steve to write our story because we had a concept and a basic treatment of the character, and Steve was busy and he had an offer informally, which was, ‘If you do Locke and Peaky Blinders, I would love to do your pilot and rewrite your title.’ That’s where it all started, and the three of us set about trying to create a new piece of work,” he said (via IGN).

Also in attendance at the TCA on Thursday were Legion‘s Dan Stevens, Aubrey Plaza, Rachel Keller, Jean Smart, Katie Aselton, Bill Irwin, Amber Midthunder, and Jeremie Harris, as well as Man Seeking Woman‘s Jay Baruchel, Katie Findlay, and Britt Lower.

Scott Eastwood goes shirtless while in bed with his love interest Britt Robertson in the trailer for their new film The Longest Ride.

The romantic drama, based on a Nicholas Sparks novel, centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke (Eastwood), a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia (Robertson), a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world. As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira (Alan Alda), whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple.

Emilia Clarke keeps it chic at the Game Of Thrones season one DVD launch party held at Old Vic Tunnels on Wednesday (February 29) in London, England.

The British actress was joined by her co-stars Richard Madden, Oona Chaplin, Iain Glena, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner, Nikolas Coster-Waldau, Michelle Fairley, and creators D.B Weiss and David Benioff.

Oona Chaplin has joined the hit television show Game of Thrones for its second season, Access Hollywood reports!

The budding actress, and grand daughter of silent film star Charlie Chaplin, will play the role of Jeyne in the series based on the novels by George R. R. Martin.

There are numerous characters with that same name, so it is still a mystery as to what role she will actually play in the series!

“I’ve got a part in Game of Thrones and I did a wee bit on Sherlock recently,” Oona told a British newspaper about her future in show business. “But ideally I’d like to do a massive action film where I have to do stunts and proper fight scenes and horse riding and car chases.”
