Justin Bieber is laughing so hard, he’s turning red!

The 23-year-old “Where Are U Now” pop superstar was spotted leaving church on Wednesday (January 24) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Justin was bright red, laughing along with attendees at the service while exiting the building with Patrick Schwarzenegger, who left from the service in the same car.

And Justin had someone else with him: his mother Pattie Mallette!

Pattie looked in good spirits too, despite having suffered a recent leg fracture.

They recently reunited on a vacation in the Maldives, and it seems like they’re still on good terms.

Justin Bieber and his mom, Pattie Mallette are currently on vacation together in the Maldives, but unfortunately, she broke her foot the first day they were there!

Fans noticed something was up when the 23-year-old entertainer’s mom was seen in a wheelchair in a photo he posted to Instagram.

Pattie later addressed what happened, saying, “Okay so yeah, I broke my foot on the first day of vacation :( but there are worse places to be hurt ;). Of that I am sure….I had to take a few boats and sea planes to get it looked at / treated but I had awesome helpers and a really cool wheelchair made for sand. My foot has definitely been on an adventure this trip! #blessed.”

Justin is spending time with his mom in the tropical Maldives, which is huge, considering they’ve been estranged for years.

“I’m so proud of the amazing young man you are, and the young man you are becoming. None of us are perfect and never will be, (so we will always need patience and grace for each other), but your genuine growing relationship with Jesus is evident in the choices you are making daily and the good ‘fruit’ you bear,” she wrote.

“I admire your character and integrity. You are maturing beautifully and wise beyond your years. You are so funny that I find myself laughing out loud when I’m alone, remembering of something you said or did. And your heart is gold. I love you to the moon and back. #lovemom Ps. Although Selena doesn’t follow Justin on Instagram at the moment, she did give Justin‘s sweet post about his mother her seal of approval with a like.

Pattie recently had nothing but nice things to say about Selena: “I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious,” she said.

The note from the 23-year-old entertainer comes just as Pattie, 41, praised his seemingly on-again girlfriend Selena Gomez.

Justin Bieber‘s mom is opening up about Selena Gomez!

While attending the Justice Speaks Holiday Benefit Luncheon on Saturday (December 9) in Los Angeles, Pattie Mallette couldn’t help but rave over her 23-year-old son’s possible on-again girlfriend.

“I don’t know so much about their personal relationship because he doesn’t share a whole lot, but I love her,” Pattie told People about Selena. “I support anything [he does], if he loves her I love her, and I’ve met her and we have a special bond so I think she’s precious. I can’t really speak on their relationship, that’s between them.”

For the past few weeks, rumors have been swirling that the Selena and Justin have rekindled their romance after they’ve been spotted hanging out tons of times, but neither have officially confirmed the news.

“I think anyone with real love in their life is more grounded,” Justin‘s mom continued. “I think there’s so much confusion sometimes and façade in this Hollywood world, and so it’s important for us to find the ones that truly care and stick with them.”

Justin Bieber‘s close relationship with his mom Pattie Mallette was well documented in his 2011 documentary Never Say Never, but he says they don’t have much of a connection anymore.

The 21-year-old singer said in a new Billboard interview that their relationship is “pretty nonexisting.”

“I was distant because I was ashamed,” Justin said. “I never wanted my mom to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust. She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better. She’s an amazing woman and I love her.”

Justin‘s mom gave birth to him when she was just 17 and his dad Jeremy Bieber was 18.

“He was immature,” Justin told the mag about his dad. “He left for like a year when I was about 4, went to British Columbia, came back on Father’s Day. I remember my mom said, ‘If you’re going to be here, you have to be here.’ There’s a misconception that he’s this deadbeat dad, but he has been in my life since. I was with him on weekends and Wednesdays.”
