'WandaVision' Finale Will Have Longest Episode Length of the Season, New Report Claims

There is only one episode left in the acclaimed television series WandaVision and new details have been revealed about the finale.

One of the only complaints about the show is how short some of the episodes have been, with some of them having a run time of less than 30 minutes.

Episode 8 was the longest episode of the series so far with a runtime of 47 minutes and a new report claims that the ninth and final episode will be the longest one of the series.

ComicBook.com reports that the finale will click in right at 50 minutes, though that will include the credits. The source for the info is a Reddit user who previously leaked accurate info about runtime for other episodes.

Marvel execs and cast members have said that the series would be a “six-hour movie” and the nine episodes will bring the show to a total runtime of just under that benchmark.

See how fans reacted to that huge moment at the end of the eighth episode.

Paul Bettany is speaking out in response to the fan theories that have been spreading around the internet about WandaVision.

Six out of nine episodes are now streaming on Disney+ and there are still many mysteries left to unlock ahead of the finale.

Paul spoke to Marvel.com for a new interview about the show and how he loves reading the fan theories about what’s to come. He even said that some of the theories have been very accurate!

“I’m loving it. I’m loving it being disseminated to the fans. And I love how frustrated they are of not being able to see it all in one fix. I love reading their theories of what might happen. And some of them are incredibly accurate, actually. I keep thinking, ‘Marvel should give that person a job,’” Paul said.

He continued, “It’s been a whole lot of fun watching them go through this. I mean, I know they’ve been waiting a long time. So, have we. It’s really special to watch it on the platform without my name across the middle of it [on early screeners]. So yeah, it’s been really fun.”

While the 49-year-old actor, who plays Vision in the series, didn’t spill the spoiler on who the character is or who the actor is either, he did share that their scenes together are “intense”.

“So many things get leaked, but there’s this thing that has been completely under wrap that happens,” Paul shared on the Lights, Camera, Batstool podcast. “I work with this actor that I’ve always wanted to work with and we have fireworks together, the scenes are great and I think people are going to be really excited. “You can expect those two worlds [the sitcom world and the real world] to have more conflict. I don’t want to give away too much about the future episodes, but I will tell you this, there were more special effects requirements for our TV show than there were for Endgame,” he added.

“I think they’re going to be massively surprised by the end of the show,” Paul says. “I really think people are going to be like, ‘Oh my God!’ and they’re going to look at the MCU in a whole new light and also have a much deeper understanding in what direction it’s moving.”

Just recently, Elizabeth Olsen opened up about why the series was intimidating to her at first.

Paul recently revealed in an interview with IMDb that he actually shot a post-credits scene for Endgame, which didn’t make the final cut.

“At one point there was going to be a tag, where [Scarlet Witch] opened a sort of body bag drawer and there was the Vision. [Marvel Studios boss] Kevin [Feige] kind of talked to me and said, ‘I’ve got to pull the shots.’ And I was like, ‘Ugh!’ Because I really wanted that profit participation!” he said.
