Piers Morgan has spent the past few years repeatedly slamming Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, yet today on his morning show he stormed off set when called out for just a few moments.

The 55-year-old was co-hosting on Good Morning Britain on March 9 when his co-host Alex Beresford confronted him.

“I understand that you don’t like Meghan Markle. You’ve made it so clear a number of times on this program—a number of times,” Alex said. “And I understand that you’ve got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one and she cut you off. She’s entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don’t think she has but yet you continue to trash her.”

Piers got up and left at this moment, saying, “OK, I’m done with this. Sorry. No. Sorry. You can trash me mate, but not on my own show. See you later. Sorry, can’t do this.”

If you don’t know, Piers claims to have been friends with Meghan back in 2015. They apparently hung out in 2016 during the same trip where she went on her first date with Prince Harry.

“She met Prince Harry at the dinner that night, went on a solo date with him the next night, and I never heard from her again,” Morgan wrote in 2018. “Not a word. I’d been ghosted.”

Piers was also called out another time this week for his comments about the former royals.

In the 2-hour special, Meghan revealed that members of the royal family had made comments about her son Archie‘s skin color and addressed the rumors that she had made Kate Middleton cry.

Piers called the show an “absolutely disgraceful betrayal” and disputed the couple’s claims that racism had driven them from the royal family.

Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu joined Piers to discuss the interview on Good Morning Britain and the conversation got very heated.

“Listen, you might learn something,” Dr. Mos-Shogbamimu told Piers. “The royal family is an institution rooted in colonialism, white supremacy, and racism. The legacy is right there. So you’re now surprised that a comment would have been made by several members of the royal family about how dark Archie’s skin is.”

She ignored Piers‘ attempts to interrupt her and continued, “Let me finish. You’re more outraged that Harry and Meghan had the audacity to speak their truth than at the actual outrage of racism.”

Piers replied, “I think what you just said about the queen is disgusting.”

“You are disgusting!” Dr. Mos-Shagbamimu shot back.

When Piers asked if Dr. Mos-Shogbamimu thought it was funny that Meghan and Harry continued their interview after Prince Philip had been hospitalized, Dr. Mos-Shogbamimu responded, “No, what I don’t think is funny is the fact that you are such a disappointment. I wish to God one day you would surprise me. You constantly use your platform as a wealthy, white, privilege man with power and influence…”

“Oh what a load of nonsense,” Piers interrupted.

Piers Morgan is being slammed by people on social media for his “tribute” to Larry King after the legendary interviewer’s death.

If you don’t remember, CNN removed Larry‘s longtime show Larry King Live back in 2011 and replaced it with Piers‘ unsuccessful show Piers Morgan Tonight.

After the sad news was announced, Piers tweeted, “Larry King was a hero of mine until we fell out after I replaced him at CNN & he said my show was ‘like watching your mother-in-law go over a cliff in your new Bentley.’ (He married 8 times so a mother-in-law expert) But he was a brilliant broadcaster & masterful TV interviewer.”

Piers is now a trending topic on Twitter and the social media site even noted how he is being criticized over his remarks.

Jameela Jamil is addressing the months of hate she has received after Love Island host Caroline Flack died by suicide back in February 2020.

On Tuesday (June 30), Jameela posted a hateful message she received from a troll referencing Caroline and she posted it, responding, “I get messages like this every day because @piersmorgan implied that I was responsible for Caroline’s death just because she and I had a Mild disagreement about her TV shows, where I wasn’t actually criticizing her, 8 months before she passed. The media killed her, not me.”

Jameela further explained, “She reached out to me a few days before she died because she was sad to see how much hate I was getting from the media, (which massively was coming from Morgan at the time) and then she passed a few days later. He then used a dead woman’s message out of context to harass me.”

It looks like Donald Trump is officially done with his former friend Piers Morgan.

The President of the United States has unfollowed Piers on Twitter after the British journalist slammed the comments he made about injecting disinfectant.

“This is not just insane, it’s also incredibly dangerous. If Americans now die from injecting themselves with disinfectant, their deaths will be solely on President @realDonaldTrump. He needs to stop airing these absurd & reckless theories – NOW,” Piers wrote on Twitter.

Piers then wrote a column for the Daily Mail about the topic. He later tweeted, “UPDATE: President ⁦@realDonaldTrump has unfollowed me on Twitter, hours after I wrote this ⁦@DailyMail column.”

Donald and Piers have a long history. Piers won the seventh season of The Celebrity Apprentice back in 2008 and then he appeared on the show many more times over the years as an advisor.

Piers Morgan shared some advice to Donald Trump during his appearance on CNN’s Reliable Sources show on Sunday (April 19).

The British news anchor admitted that he considers the 45th President of the United States to be a friend, but has been “horrified” watching how he is handling daily press briefings about the coronavirus pandemic.

“I’ve known him a long time. I consider him to be a friend, but I’ve been watching these daily briefings with mounting horror, frankly, because this is not what the president should be doing. He won’t want me saying this, but I’m gonna say it anyway,” Piers shared.

He added, also speaking of UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, “They’ve got to be calm. They got to show authority. They have to be honest. They have to be accurate, timely factual with what they’re telling the people and they have to have the ability to show empathy.”

“At almost every level of that, Donald Trump at the moment is failing the American people,” Piers continued. “…he has to put the country before himself. He has to put Americans before electioneering. He has to remind himself every day, what can I do today to prevent more lives being killed? Not how can I score more petty points.”
