Quentin Tarantino Responds to Kanye West Claiming He Stole 'Django Unchained' Concept

Quentin Tarantino is responding to Kanye West.

In a recent interview, the 45-year-old rapper claimed that he originally came up with the idea for the 2012 movie Django Unchained, and that the 59-year-old director and Jamie Foxx stole the concept from him.

“Tarantino can write a movie about slavery where – actually him and Jamie, they got the idea from me because the idea for Django, I pitched to Jamie Foxx and Quentin Tarantino as the video for ‘Gold Digger,’” Kanye claimed. “And then Tarantino turned it into a film.”

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night (October 27), Quentin addressed Kanye‘s claims.
