Fans got another dose of nostalgia with the Jesse Pinkman and Walter White actors in the ad, alongside Raymond Cruz, who also reprised his role as drug lord Tuco Salamanca from the hit AMC series.
In the commercial, Aaron and Bryan are back in the white trailer, but instead of drugs, are cooking up the best combination for some new PopCorners flavors.
Later on, Raymond as Tuco shows for his cut of the new product.
The two stars were back on screen as Jesse Pinkman and Walter White in PopCorners‘ upcoming commercial for the 2023 Super Bowl.
Raymond Cruz, who played drug lord Tuco Salamanca in the popular AMC series, was also back for the 60 second ad, which will air this weekend during the big game.
Speaking to People, Aaron, Bryan and Raymond all convinced Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan to be part of the ad as well, as its’ director.
“It’s so easy to kind of zip on that skin again,” Aaron shared. “It’s just like revisiting a very familiar friend.”
Bryan added that they “had so much fun shooting it. Just getting back into those characters and seeing all the familiar faces. We fit like a glove.”
“Our characters on the show [were] always about purity in that particular product, and PopCorners has that same sort of mindset,” Aaron then pointed out. “It’s all about basic ingredients. There’s no reason to throw in other stuff. You read the bag and you know every single ingredient.”
