Former President Barack Obama took a spill in the water while kitesurfing with billionaire Richard Branson – and it was all caught on video!

“One of the first stories Barack told me when he and Michelle arrived on Moskito Island was how, just before he became President, he had been surfing on a dangerous break in Hawaii,” Richard wrote on his website. “The new head of his security team turned to him and said: ‘This will be the last time you surf for eight years.’

Richard admitted he invited Barack and Michelle Obama to the island for a “complete break” after the Presidency.

Richard Branson is lucky to be alive today after injuring himself in a bike accident earlier this week.

The 66-year-old Virgin billionaire was training for the Virgin Strive Challenge while in the British Virgin Islands on Monday with two of his adult kids.

“I really thought I was going to die,” Richard wrote on his blog. “I was heading down a hill towards Leverick Bay when it suddenly got really dark and I managed to hit a ‘sleeping policeman’ hump in the road head on. The next thing I knew, I was being hurled over the handlebars and my life was literally flashing before my eyes.”

“I went flying head-first towards the concrete road, but fortunately my shoulder and cheek took the brunt of the impact, and I was wearing a helmet that saved my life (however, perhaps they should build bike helmets that protect the side of the face too – does anyone know of one?). My bike went flying off the cliff and disappeared. We’ve since recovered the crumpled bicycle, completely destroyed. My cheek has been badly damaged and my knee, chin, shoulder and body severely cut,” he added.

Joe Manganiello gets the red carpet treatment after stepping off a Virgin America flight on Monday (November 2) in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The 38-year-old actor joined mogul Richard Branson to take the airline’s inaugural flight from San Francisco to Honolulu.

Upon arrival in paradise, the guys went to the AirBnB Paul Mitchell estate in Oahu for the launch party, where they get lei’d.

Matt Smith and his rumored girlfriend Lily James hit up the launch party to celebrate Virgin Atlantic’s new Vivienne Westwood uniform collection at Village Underground on Tuesday (July 1) in London, England.

The couple were careful not to be photographed together to avoid further speculation. Also in attendance at the party were Daisy Lowe, Alice Eve, Hayley Atwell, Sadie Frost, Virgin Atlantic’s Richard Branson, and Vivienne Westwood herself!

Matt and Lily were also spotted at the same event over the weekend but were careful not to be photographed together.
