Joni Mitchell is the Person of the Year and she was honored at the 2022 MusiCares event during Grammys weekend!

So many stars stepped out to help honor Joni at the event on Friday (April 1) at the MGM Grand Marquee Ballroom in Las Vegas.

Sara Bareilles performed “California,” John Legend performed “River,” Billy Porter sang “Both Sides Now,” Brandi Carlile teamed up with Stephen Stills for “Woodstock,” and so many more stars also sang.

“That was such an exciting musical evening for me,” Joni said while accepting the award (via The Tennessean). “To hear my music performed so well by everybody who was on stage.”

So many incredible women in Hollywood stepped out to attend the Badass Women Dinner!

Jaime King, Bella Heathcote, and Zoey Deutch were seen posing with event co-host Dr. Barbara Sturm at the event on Thursday night (October 21) at Petit Ermitage in West Hollywood, Calif.

The event was also co-hosted by InStyle and the mag’s editor-in-chief Laura Brown.

More stars in attendance at the event included Jurnee Smollett, The White Lotus co-stars Connie Britton and Alexandra Daddario, Tommy Dorfman, Alexandra Shipp, Madeline Brewer, Monica Lewinsky, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Annaleigh Ashford, Rita Wilson, talent agent Tracy Brennan, producer Dany Garcia, and Barbara‘s daughter Charly Sturm.

For those who don’t know, Barbara is a skincare expert who is known for her anti-inflammatory philosophy and her non-surgical anti-aging skin treatments.

The stars are stepping out for The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala!

Tom Hanks and wife Rita Wilson along with Annette Bening and husband Warren Beatty stepped out for the event held on Saturday evening (September 25) at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.

Other stars in attendance included Meg Ryan, Cher, Italian actress Sophia Loren, Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily V. Gordon, Star Wars director J.J. Abrams, Cry-Baby director John Waters, and musician Questlove.

Spike Lee also attended the event alongside wife Tonya, son Jackson, and daughter Satchel.

The event – which is being co-chaired by Ava DuVernay, Ryan Murphy, and Jason Blum – will be honoring Sophia and filmmaker Haile Gerima. Tom, Annette, and Bob Iger are also being recognized for their fundraising efforts for the museum.

The new Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, which is located on the LACMA campus, will officially be open to the public starting on September 30.

Fans were left speechless after watching the opening number for the 2021 Emmy Awards!

Rita Wilson shocked the audience by showing off her rapping skills during the performance on Sunday (September 19) at The Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles.

The 64-year-old actress joined host Cedric the Entertainer and performers Lil Dicky and LL Cool J while paying tribute to Biz Markie. They all performed the song “Just a Friend” to kick off the show.

Rita gave props to streaming services during her verse.

Rita Wilson is opening up about what allegedly happened when she worked with disgraced Scott Rudin on the 2015 Broadway play Fish in the Dark.

The 64-year-old actress learned that she was diagnosed with breast cancer while performing in the play and Rudin‘s response to the news was awful.

“When she told Mr. Rudin the news, she said, he complained that she would need time off during Tony voting season and asked to see her medical records, while Anna Shapiro, the director, grew upset about having to find a replacement,” The New York Times reported.

The report added, “A few days later, just before the curtains rose, Ms. Wilson received a call from her agent, saying her surgeon needed to call the insurance adjuster immediately, per Mr. Rudin’s demands. The memory still pains her.”
