There is some good news from Netflix after yesterday’s upsetting turn of events.

It was just announced that Rob Lowe and John Owen Lowe‘s TV series Unstable has been renewed for a second season.

In a statement, they said: “It’s a dream come true for us to jump back into the world of Unstable. Here’s to season two and the many hours of family therapy that we will need along the way.”

This news comes just after Netflix canceled 5 massive fan favorite TV shows.

Parks and Recreation, aka Parks and Rec, was a super popular mockumentary comedy on NBC for several years.

The hit, Emmy award-nominated political satire featured a star-studded cast of Amy Poehler, Aubrey Plaza, Nick Offerman, Jim O’Heir, Aziz Ansari, Retta, Chris Pratt, Rashida Jones, Adam Scott and Rob Lowe, along with more big-name celeb appearances throughout the course of it’s run.

Here’s a synopsis: Armed with idea binders and the stalwart help of fellow employees, small-town civil servant Leslie Knope bushwhacks through bureaucracy to make to make her hometown a better place.

The series ran for seven seasons, from 2009 to 2015, picking up 76 award nominations and winning 13, including a Golden Globe win for Best Actress in a Television Series Comedy or Musical for Amy Poehler.

Before and after the show, the cast has starred in many hit movies and other TV shows, and have amassed quite the wealth in their careers.

Cameron Diaz and Rob Lowe share a hug and a kiss on the cheek while parting ways on Wednesday night (October 11) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Rob Lowe is looking back at his time on The West Wing.

The 59-year-old actor played deputy communications director Sam Seaborn for the first four seasons of the NBC political drama before he shocked fans by exiting the show halfway through season four. He later returned for two episodes in season seven.

In a new interview, Rob said that leaving The West Wing was “the best thing I ever did,” comparing his time on the show to a “super unhealthy relationship.”

Rob Lowe is opening up about the life parallels in his new series Unstable with his son John Owen Lowe.

They play an estranged father-son pair who are brought back together at a chaotic time.

“The story of Unstable is really the story of us,” Rob said. “It’s a story about a dad trying to love and support his son through everything, and his son putting up a little bit of a fight. That is a story that almost every parent and child can relate to, and of course Johnny came in and made it all very hysterical.”
