HBO has canceled the series The Time Traveler’s Wife after one season.
Some fans are probably going to be confused to hear this news as many thought it was a limited series from the very beginning, but it was actually intended as a regular series!
The six-episode first season told the tale of Clare (Rose Leslie) and Henry (Theo James) and a marriage with a problem: time travel.

Lots of celebs are stepping out for the 2022 Glastonbury Festival!
Lily James and married couple Kit Harington and Rose Leslie were among the stars who were seen on the grounds on Friday afternoon (June 24) in Glastonbury, England.
Also seen at the festival were Sienna Miller and her boyfriend Oli Green, as well as Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. They were all at an event in London the night before!
Glastonbury is the biggest festival in the UK each year and they have some great headliners for this year’s lineup: Billie Eilish for Friday, Paul McCartney for Saturday, and Kendrick Lamar for Sunday. Some of the other performers throughout the weekend include Haim, Lorde, Diana Ross, Megan Thee Stallion, Olivia Rodrigo, Kacey Musgraves, and more.

Simone Ashley steps out for her first F1 Grand Prix held at the Circuit de Monaco on Sunday afternoon (May 29) in Monte-Carlo, Monaco.
The 27-year-old Bridgerton actress met up with a few other celebrities at the event, where they toured the grid ahead of the big race.
Euphoria‘s Jacob Elordi, Patrick Dempsey, and fighter Conor McGregor were also seen at the event, alongside couples Heidi Klum and Tom Kaulitz, Nina Dobrev and Shaun White, and Rose Leslie and Kit Harington.
Prince Albert, and Princess Charlene of Monaco were also seen around the arena, greeting drivers before the race.

Ahead of the premiere this weekend, there has been some criticism that The Time Traveler’s Wife is promoting grooming through its’ storyline.
There are certain points throughout the show where Henry, played by Theo James, meets a young version of his present-day wife, Clare, played by Rose Leslie.
Some critics have taken issue that while meeting Clare as a child, it’s raised red flags that he was grooming her to be his wife.
Following the accusations, showrunner Steven Moffat responded.

Rose Leslie and Kit Harington are stepping out for their second appearance in two days – and this time it’s across the pond!
The married couple walked the red carpet at the SMS Battles Quiz for The MS Society event on Thursday (May 12) at East Wintergarden in London, England.
The night before, Rose and Kit were in New York City for the premiere of her new HBO limited series The Time Traveler’s Wife.
In a new interview, Rose explained how her marriage to Kit affected the way she played the role.
“I think being in a relationship and knowing that you have a supportive partner can only lend itself to feeling more secure in in yourself, and therefore, hopefully, kind of growing together into two people who are more anchored,” she told Extra.
Rose‘s co-star Theo James added, “I definitely think being married… having children, having, you know, being a little bit hopefully older and wiser that enables you to inform a story like this. I think it would have been harder, for me at least, to play this part when I was younger because I was too much more of the younger Henry, you know? I recognized the kind of young, dumb, impulsive guy, and I remember him, but I feel like I’m less him now, even though I still make those mistakes, but then I’m old enough to know that I’m kind of heading in the direction of, you know, just being a bit more relaxed in myself.”

The cute couple were joined by Rose‘s co-star Theo James and his wife, Ruth Kearney.
Natasha López, Desmin Borges, Chelsea Frei, Taylor Richardson, Josh Stamberg, Jason David, Peter Graham, Everleigh McDonnell, Caitlin Shorey, and Kate Siegel, as well as director David Nutter, and series creator Steven Moffat were also at the event.
Chatting with ET recently, Rose and Theo opened up about the aging makeup they wore for the show.
“I think it worked well with Rose. She looked instantly aged but elegant and touches of your own mom,” Theo said. “Mine, I think they went too deep and I looked like the head of a tortoise.”
Rose said that she “FaceTimed my husband straight away” with her look, and Kit‘s reaction was “chaffed!”
“I don’t think my wife saw me because she would have been terrified,” Theo joked about showing Ruth. “I looked like Voldemort/Ursula.”
The Time Traveler’s Wife will premiere Sunday, May 15 on HBO.
