Sacha Baron Cohen, while dressed up as his iconic character Borat, is speaking out in response to the controversy surrounding the Rudy Giuliani scene in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.

Giuliani, who is the former mayor of New York City and currently is President Trump‘s personal attorney, is involved in a scene with 24-year-old actress Maria Bakalova, who plays Borat’s 15-year-old daughter.

The daughter poses as a journalist interviewing Giuliani and invites him to a hotel room for a drink and tries to take his microphone off. He leans back on a bed and reached his hand into his pants and then Borat runs into the room and says, “She’s 15. She’s too old for you.”

Giuliani said this week, “The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment. At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.”

In the new video, Borat “defends” Giuliani.

Rudy Giuliani has attempted to explain the scene in Borat 2 by releasing a statement on his social media account.

If you don’t know, the 76-year-old politician was pictured and filmed in a compromising situation in the movie in which he is pictured with actress Maria Bakalova, who plays Borat’s daughter, Tutar, in a bedroom to have a drink.

The scene continues as he asks for her name and address, and the camera captures Maria reaching into his shirt to retrieve his microphone as he gives her a pat on the back. When she turns away, Rudy lies down on the bed and reaches into his pants.

“The Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment,” Rudy explained on Twitter. “At no time before, during, or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise he is a stone-cold liar.”

Many Twitter users have called him out on the statement, including singer Demi Lovato.

“So you normally drink with reporters, follow them to the bedroom and then lie on the bed and let her take off your mic for you?” she asked in her tweet. “I guess I’ve been doin my interviews all wrong…”

Borat 2 is set to be released on Amazon Prime on Friday, October 23.

Rudy Giuliani‘s daughter, Caroline, is speaking out.

The 31-year-old daughter of the politician, who endorses Donald Trump as part of his legal team, voiced her support for Joe Biden in an essay for Vanity Fair.

“I accept that most people will start reading this piece because you saw the headline with my father’s name. But now that you’re here, I’d like to tell you how urgent I think this moment is,” she wrote.

“I’ve spent a lifetime forging an identity in the arts separate from my last name, so publicly declaring myself as a ‘Giuliani‘ feels counterintuitive, but I’ve come to realize that none of us can afford to be silent right now. The stakes are too high.”

“I may not be able to change my father’s mind, but together, we can vote this toxic administration out of office,” she continued.

“What inspires me most about Vice President Biden is that he is not afraid to surround himself with people who disagree with him. Choosing Senator Harris, who challenged him in the primary, speaks volumes about what an inclusive president he will be,” she wrote.

“In Joe Biden, we’ll have a leader who prioritizes common ground and civility over alienation, bullying, and scorched-earth tactics…Biden wasn’t my first choice when the primaries started. But I know what is at stake, and Joe Biden will be everyone’s president if elected.”

Donald Trump is feeling healthy, according to pal Rudy Giuliani.

The President called the former Mayor of New York City from the hospital on Saturday afternoon (October 3) to share an update on how he’s doing while battling the coronavirus.

“If you can judge by the way he speaks, he sounded like vintage Donald Trump,” Giuliani told the New York Post, before sharing the statement Trump dictated to him.

“I feel I could get out of here right now. But they’re telling me there can always be a backstep with this disease. But I feel I could go out and do a rally,” Trump told Giuliani.

“I am the president of the United States. I can’t lock myself in a room. … I had to confront [the virus] so the American people stopped being afraid of it so we could deal with it responsibly, he continued. “We have made tremendous progress on treating this disease. Fatality rates are very low compared to [the beginning].”

“I’m going to beat this,” Trump said. “Then I will be able to show people we can deal with this disease responsibly, but we shouldn’t be afraid of it.”

If I had handled it any other way, I would have created more panic, more fear in the American people,” Trump added. “We are making great progress on dealing with this disease and making better progress with the economy than anyone had the right to expect.”

Trump first revealed on Thursday, October 1 that he and wife Melania Trump had tested positive for COVID-19. However, there’s been some major debate as to when he was actually diagnosed.

Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City and now the personal attorney for President Donald Trump, says he called the cops on Sacha Baron Cohen after an alleged prank.

Giuliani thought he was going to be doing a serious interview about COVID-19 when he showed up at the Mark Hotel in New York City on Tuesday (July 7). He says that he was offered monetary compensation for the interview and he requested the money be donated to the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

After a female interviewer began the interview, Giuliani says, “This guy comes running in, wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit. It was a pink bikini, with lace, underneath a translucent mesh top, it looked absurd. He had the beard, bare legs, and wasn’t what I would call distractingly attractive.”

“This person comes in yelling and screaming, and I thought this must be a scam or a shake-down, so I reported it to the police. He then ran away,” he added.

Sources told Page Six that they saw Cohen sprinting out of the hotel in a bathrobe, though he was not stopped by cops.

Giuliani said, “I only later realized it must have been Sacha Baron Cohen. I thought about all the people he previously fooled and I felt good about myself because he didn’t get me.”

Despite the prank, Giuliani said that he is a Cohen fan and enjoyed the movie Borat.

Just a couple weeks ago, Cohen pranked someone else at a right-wing event.

Rudy and Judith Giuliani are splitting up.

The former New York mayor confirmed that he and his wife are divorcing after 15 years of marriage to Page Six on Wednesday (April 4).

“It is with great sadness I can confirm that Judith and I are divorcing. We hope to do this as amicably as possible, and hope that people will respect the privacy of our children at this time.”

“In these divorce situations, you cannot place blame, it is 50/50, there are problems on both sides. We will have to divide our properties in New York and Palm Beach,” he added.

Judith filed a contested divorce proceeding in Manhattan Supreme Court. The two married in 2003. This was the third marriage for both of them.

President Donald Trump decided to ask Rudy Giuliani to say some words during a meeting on cyber security and he had trouble figuring out where the former NYC mayor was… even though he was right in front of him.

The President of the United States was sitting right across from Giuliani throughout the meeting and when he called on him to speak he said, “Where is Rudy,” while looking around the room.

Trump announced during the meeting that Giuliani will be working with his son-in-law Jared Kushner and that “Rudy is very much an expert on cyber security. It’s been a very important thing for him and what he does.”
