Get to Know 'Friends' Brother Duo SAINT PHNX With These 10 Fun Facts (Exclusive)

SAINT PHNX is one of the rising acts we’re most excited about here at Just Jared, and we want our readers to get a chance to know them even better.

The Glasgow, Scotland-bred brother duo – individually Stevie and Alan Jukes – have been hustling hard since 2016 with releases like “KING,” and touring the likes of act like Imagine Dragons, leading up to their full-length album DDMN in 2020.

As their star began to rise however, their father was diagnosed with a terminal lung condition. He chose to stay in Glasgow, buying land in the Tinto Hills and building a home with a studio for the boys to write and record their music.

Last year, SAINT PHNX released “Happy Place,” an ode to their father who has since sadly passed away. The track has amassed over 20 million streams worldwide, and endorsed by major acts like Yungblud and Lewis Capaldi.

They went on to release a new version of the song alongside friend and labelmate Jasmine Thompson.

The group is only continuing to skyrocket to stardom: on Friday (August 19), the duo released their brand new single “Friends” on Friday (August 19), marking their first release since their Atlantic Records major label debut EP, Happy Place, which went to No. 1 on the Official Scottish Albums Chart.
