Sam Claflin is on board for the upcoming movie Enola Holmes!

The 33-year-old Adrift actor will star in the film adaptation of Nancy Springer’s Enola Holmes Mysteries book series, Variety reports.

The six-book series, which started with “The Case of the Missing Marquess” in 2006, focuses on “Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes’ much younger sister, Enola, who turns out to be a highly capable detective in her own right.”

It has previously been announced that Millie Bobby Brown will play the titular character, Helena Bonham Carter will play Enola’s mother, and Henry Cavill will play Sherlock Holmes. It is unclear who Sam Claflin will play yet.

The cast also features Fiona Shaw and Adeel Akhtar. Harry Bradbeer will direct.

Production will begin this summer after Millie wraps production on Godzilla vs. Kong. She is also producing Enola Holmes with her sister Paige Brown.

Sam Claflin and Freida Pinto are joining the cast of Love, Wedding, Repeat!

The two will join Eleanor Tomlinson and Olivia Munn in Dean Craig‘s romantic comedy, producers announced on Thursday (April 18).

Allan Mustafa, Jack Farthing, Joel Fry and Tim Key are also set to appear in the film.

Here’s a plot summary: on his sister Hayley’s wedding day, Jack is determined to ensure that his only living family member has the wedding of her dreams to the man she loves. But when fate lends a hand and the table seating is re-arranged, we see how one small change can drastically alter destiny leading to disastrous and hilarious consequences.

Sam Claflin has reportedly joined the cast of the upcoming Charlie’s Angels reboot movie!

The movie will be directed by Elizabeth Banks, who Sam worked with in the Hunger Games movies.

Elizabeth will also star in the movie as one of the multiple Bosley characters. Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou are also playing Bosleys.

Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and newcomer Elle Balinska are on board to play the Angels. No word yet on the role Sam will play.

Sam Claflin suited up for the 2018 Venice Film Festival!

The 32-year-old actor hit the red carpet for the premiere of his upcoming film The Nightingale on Thursday evening (September 6) in Venice, Italy.

Sam was joined by his co-stars Aisling Franciosi, Baykali Ganambarr and Jennifer Kent.

Earlier in the day, the cast also stepped out for a photo call for the film.

The Nightingale is based on Kristin Hannah’s novel of the same name and follows the lives of two sisters living in France who are torn apart at the onset of World War II.

Sam Claflin is all smiles as he hits the blue carpet at the 2018 Giffoni Film Festival held on Monday (July 23) in Giffoni Valle Piana, Italy.

The 32-year-old actor was in attendance in support of his film Adrift, which is set for release in Italian movie theatres on August 29th and also stars Shailene Woodley.

“Giffoni is the most important festival in the world because it is dedicated to the youth, and they have the power to decide the future of humanity as well as the future of the most creative side of the cinema industry,” Sam said in a statement at the festival. “They are jurors at Giffoni, and they also know that no one will judge them here: they can finally feel free and listened. I wish I had had the same opportunity when I was a child.”

Dominic Cooper and Jeremy Irvine have some fun together while attending the Audi Polo Challenge on Saturday (June 30) at Coworth Park Polo Club in Ascot, England.

The Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again co-stars were joined by a bunch of hot British stars at the event.

Sam Claflin and wife Laura Haddock, Tom Holland, Douglas Booth and girlfriend Bel Powley, Vanessa Kirby, Ellie Bamber, and Eleanor Tomlinson were among the other stars in attendance.

Prince Harry and Prince William both played in the match and Tom was on hand to present a plaque to the royals.
