Samara Weaving steps out with Henry Golding for an exclusive screening of their new movie, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, in Los Angeles on Wednesday night (July 21).

The two stars were also joined by Henry‘s wife, Liv Lo, at the event, which was a Comic-Con Fans First event at the TCL Chinese Theatre.

Producer Erik Howsam was also at the event, where Henry and Samara spoke about the film to fans in the theatre ahead of the screening.

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins centers on the title character, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent.

The movie will debut in theaters on Friday, July 23.

Hulu has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming series Nine Perfect Strangers and a star-studded cast is appearing in the new show!

The new series is a must-watch for fans of Big Little Lies as it’s based on the best-selling novel by Liane Moriarty, who also wrote the “Big Little Lies” novel.

David E. Kelley, who wrote and created Big Little Lies, is also the co-writer of Nine Perfect Strangers with Nicole Kidman returning to star in and executive produce the new series as well.

Also featured in the star-studded cast are Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto.

Nine Perfect Strangers takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this 10-day retreat is the resort’s director, Masha, a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies. However, these nine “perfect” strangers have no idea what is about to hit them.

The cast of Damien Chazelle’s Babylon movie is filling out.

Deadline just revealed nine new stars that have joined the pic including Katherine Waterston, Max Minghella, and Samara Weaving.

The site also revealed that Flea, Rory Scovel, Lukas Haas, Eric Roberts, P.J. Byrne and Damon Gupton will also appear in the film opposite Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li.

Almost all the roles and details of the plot are being kept under wraps at this point in time, however it’s reported that Babylon will be an R-rated drama set in the shifting moment in Hollywood when the industry turned from silent film to talkies.

Damien will be directing and writing the script, with Olivia Hamilton, Matt Plouffe, and Marc Platt producing. Tobey Maguire, Helen Estabrook and Adam Siegel are all executive producers on the movie.

Babylon is currently set for a January 2022 release date.

Margot actually replaced this other actress in the movie.

Paramount Pictures has debuted the first look at the upcoming movie Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins!

The upcoming movie, starring Henry Golding as the title character, will be released only in theaters on July 23. The teaser trailer is going to be released on Sunday during the 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards.

Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins follows Snake Eyes, a tenacious loner who is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him.

The movie also stars Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, Úrsula Corberó as The Baroness, Samara Weaving as Scarlett, Haruka Abe as Akiko, Tahehiro Hira as Kenta, and Iko Uwais as Hard Master.

During the 2021 Oscars, the streaming service dropped the trailer for Nine Perfect Strangers starring Nicole Kidman, Melissa McCarthy, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans, Bobby Cannavale, Regina Hall, Samara Weaving, Melvin Gregg, Asher Keddie, Grace Van Patten, Tiffany Boone, and Manny Jacinto.

The series is based on Big Little Lies author Liane Moriarty’s latest book.

Here’s a plot summary via Deadline: “The series takes place at a boutique health-and-wellness resort that promises healing and transformation as nine stressed city dwellers try to get on a path to a better way of living. Watching over them during this ten-day retreat is the resort’s director Masha (Kidman), a woman on a mission to reinvigorate their tired minds and bodies.”

Samara Weaving will be playing the role of former Playboy bunny Holly Madison in an upcoming limited series, Down the Rabbit Hole!

A network is not yet attached to the series and Sony Television will be shopping the project to both streaming services and premium cable networks.

The series will be based on Holly‘s book “Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny” and the script will be written by Australian writer Marieke Hardy.

Holly is best known for being one of Hugh Hefner‘s former girlfriends and starring on the E! reality series The Girls Next Door, as well as the spinoff series Holly’s World.

THR reports that the “series looks beyond the polished facade of the Playboy brand to depict the visceral, often deeply damaging stories of the women who entered following a dream and found themselves manipulated, controlled, and abused by the machine.”

Samara is best known for her roles in the movies Ready or Not, The Babysitter, and Bill & Ted Face of the Music, as well as the shows Hollywood and SMILF.
