Barack Obama is getting in some family time to kick off the summer!

The 55-year-old former president, along with his wife Michelle and their daughters Malia and Sasha, were spotted enjoying some time together on Monday (June 26) in Bali, Indonesia.

The family even decided to get adventurous and went white water rafting down the Ayung River.

Indonesia is a special place for the Obamas, as Barack lived there for several years as a child.

According to the Associated Press, Barack is expected to travel to Yogyakarta with his half-sister Maya Soetoro-Ng to visit the area where his mother did anthropological research.

President Barack Obama just gave his last press conference as the President of the United States, and some of his final thoughts were spent gushing about his daughters, Sasha, 15, and Malia, 18.

When speaking about Sasha and Malia‘s reaction to Donald Trump winning the election, he said, “They were disappointed…[but] they do not mope.”

“What makes me proudest about them…they have no assumed that because their side did not win…that automatically America has somehow rejected them or their values. I don’t think they feel that way,” the POTUS said.

“If you’re engaged and you’re involved, then there are a lot more good people than bad in this country. There is a core decency in this country,” he said.

The Bush sisters have written an open letter to the Obama sisters as they get ready to leave the White House.

Daughters of former President George Bush – Barbara Bush and Jenna Bush Hager – have written a heartfelt letter to Malia and Sasha Obama writing how the girls have grown into mature, young women.

“Malia and Sasha, eight years ago on a cold November day, we greeted you on the steps of the White House. We saw both the light and wariness in your eyes as you gazed at your new home. We left our jobs in Baltimore and New York early and traveled to Washington to show you around. To show you the Lincoln Bedroom, and the bedrooms that were once ours, to introduce you to all the people�”the florists, the grounds-keepers and the butlers�”who dedicate themselves to making this historic house a home,” the Bush sisters started.

“The four of us wandered the majestic halls of the house you had no choice but to move in to. When you slid down the banister of the solarium, just as we had done as 8-year-olds and again as 20-year-olds chasing our youth, your joy and laughter were contagious.”

Sasha Obama was not in attendance at her dad President Obama‘s Farewell Address on Tuesday (January 10) and many people were wondering where she was.

The 15-year-old First Daughter’s sister Malia, 18, was sitting by their mom Michelle‘s side during the speech and the president said some touching things about them toward the end of the address.

The family traveled from Washington, D.C. to their hometown of Chicago for the address.

President Barack Obama had some amazing words to say about his family – wife Michelle Obama and daughters Malia, 18, and Sasha, 15 – during his Farewell Address

The President of the United States saved remarks for his family for the end of the address, which was delivered on Tuesday night (January 10) in Chicago, Ill.

“Michelle – for the past 25 years, you’ve been not only my wife and mother of my children, but my best friend,” Obama said. “You took on a role you didn’t ask for and made it your own with grace and grit and style and good humor. You made the White House a place that belongs to everybody. And a new generation sets its sights higher because it has you as a role model. You’ve made me proud. You’ve made the country proud.”

“Malia and Sasha, under the strangest of circumstances, you have become two amazing young women, smart and beautiful, but more importantly, kind and thoughtful and full of passion. You wore the burden of years in the spotlight so easily. Of all that I’ve done in my life, I’m most proud to be your dad,” he added about his daughters.

The President of the United States was seen leaving the White House with his wife Michelle Obama and their daughter Malia by his side.

Sasha does not appear to be attending the farewell.

Obama traveled to his hometown of Chicago today to deliver his Farewell Address to the nation as he will be handing over the presidency to Donald Trump next week.

Breakout Waikiki, one of the escape room sites in Hawaii, tweeted at Obama one year ago inviting him to try the game and he showed up unannounced after booking the room under another name.

“To be totally honest, we didn’t know that they were coming. It was 100% unexpected. They booked under a different name,” the company’s manager told BuzzFeed News. “An hour earlier, Secret Service showed up.”

If you don’t know what an Escape Room is, you have a set amount of time, usually 60 minutes, to figure out the clues and solve the riddles inside the room to get the key to exit.
