Debra Messing is reflecting as Will & Grace wraps filming.
The 51-year-old actress took to Instagram on Monday (December 16) to share her thoughts.
“It’s really happening,” she captioned a photo of herself and her co-star Eric McCormack sitting on a couch together on a nearly bare set.
“The curtain is coming down on Will & Grace after 11 seasons,” Debra Messing added. “A whole lotta life was lived in that apartment. And that laughs. Thank God for the laughs. Almost all packed up. Savoring every last minute.”
Sean Hayes posted a selfie on Instagram as well (below), featuring their other co-star Brian Jordan Alvarez. The caption reads, “2 more days of filming and then…anchors away! Love my television husband, Brian Jordan Alvarez.”
“Such sad news. Our beloved Shelley Morrison passed away today,” Sean wrote on Instagram. “She was absolutely hilarious and had the biggest heart. She was a part of our Will and Grace family and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to her entire family. ❤️”
Shelley played Rosario, Karen’s (Mullally) outspoken housekeeper on the original series from 1999 to 2006 and made a cameo in the 2016 webisode in support of Hillary Clinton‘s presidential campaign.
When Will & Grace was revived in 2017, Shelley declined to return to the show as she had retired from acting.
Our thoughts are with Shelley‘s loved ones during this difficult time.

Oh, Shelley… what a loss. Our dear Rosario has passed on. Shelley had a career that spanned decades, but she will always be our dear Rosie. All my love to Walter and the entire family. #shelleymorrison 😢 https://t.co/3cWY6gdCYQ
Shelley was a beautiful soul & a wonderful actor. Her work as Rosario, season after season, was as nuanced and real as it was hysterical. She will be missed by everyone at #WillandGrace, she’s a huge part of it. Sending so much love to Walter and Shelley’s whole family. #Rosariohttps://t.co/C1vkDTU6Qk
Christina Hendricks keeps it chic while striking a pose on the red carpet at the 2019 Thespians Go Hollywood Gala held at Avalon Hollywood on Monday (November 18) in Los Angeles.
The Thespians Go Hollywood gala is put on by the Educational Theatre Foundation to support financial access and equity in school theater education programs.
Christina, Matthew and more helped pay tribute to Tony legend Bernadette Peters who was being honored with the Craig Zadan Theatre for Life Award. The award is named after the late producer Zadan, who received the award posthumously last year along with producing partner Neil Meron during an emotional event in North Hollywood that saw a slew of A-listers perform on the same stage as high school students.
Sean Hayes paid a visit to The Late Show with Seth Meyers on Thursday (November 14) and dished about all his various topics, including his upcoming Netflix animated series.
“I have another thing called Q-Force, which is on Netflix for 10 episodes. An animated series, gay James Bond!,” the 49-year-old entertainer told Seth.
“You know Mike Schur, he created Parks & Recreation – and so, I’m driving to work and his office is on the same lot Will & Grace is. I’m driving and I see him and roll down my window. He’s the nicest greatest guy ever,” Sean recalled. “I go, ‘Mike, you want to do a show together?’ He goes ‘what is it?’ Gay James Bond. He goes, ‘yes, I’m doing that show.’”
“Q-Force is about a handsome secret agent and his team of fellow LGBTQ superspies. Constantly underestimated by their colleagues, the members of Q-Force have to prove themselves time and again as they embark on extraordinary professional (and personal) adventures,” according to Deadline.
Sean then talked about the series finale of Will & Grace: “The last season of Will & Grace! We were just going to do ten episodes of this Will & Grace reboot and then it ended up being 52,” he said. “So blessed, so grateful and so honored that the fans wanted us to do it. It’s been such a dream come true to get everybody together again. We have four more to tape and then we’re done.”
Sean Hayes also talked about auditioning to be the Aflac Duck, his upcoming film Lazy Susan, and getting kicked off the set of a Wayans Brothers movie, Mo’ Money.
