Britney Spears‘ father, Jamie, is now under investigation for child abuse.

UPDATE: The kids have been granted a restraining order against Jamie Spears.

Kevin Federline filed a police report against the father of his ex last Sunday after Jamie allegedly got into a physical altercation with Britney and Kevin‘s 13-year-old son, Sean Preston.

“We’re told Federline accused Jamie of abusing he and Britney‘s 13-year-old son, Sean, after an incident that occurred the day before while Britney had custody of the former couple’s two boys,” The Blast reported on Tuesday (September 3).

“Law enforcement sources would not be specific on the alleged injury, because it related to a minor, but tell us the report states the child was ‘abused’ by Jamie at some point during the singer’s time with the kids.”

The children were then reportedly removed from Jamie and brought back to her house, and Kevin was called to pick them up. The case is now being investigated by the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office for charging consideration, which will “more than likely be considered a misdemeanor” if Jamie is charged.

The statute related to the abuse allegation is regarding “inflicting unjustifiable physical pain on a child.”

Jamie Spears has not yet issued a comment.

The 37-year-old popstar spent Sunday afternoon (August 4) with her boys Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12, at Disneyland.

“Great time at Disneyland today …. but I don’t remember ever getting that wet on splash mountain 🏔!!!” Britney captioned the below post. “Geeez …. anyhow my boys are older now, so they don’t like their picture taken ever… so I was thrilled today when they said SURE !!!!! Such a great place !!!!!”

Last weekend, Britney Spears‘ sons attended a Braves baseball game in Atlanta with their aunt Jamie Lynn Spears.

Jamie Lynn Spears took to Instagram on Friday (July 26) to share a few photos of she and her daughter Maddie, 11, along with Britney Spears‘ sons Sean, 13, and Jayden, 12 at a Braves game in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Everyone had a good time at the @braves game, even JPW🤳🏻⚾️♥️,” the 28-year-old actress captioned the below post.

In the shot with she and the kids, Jamie Lynn can be seen FaceTiming with husband Jamie Watson.

Britney Spears stepped out for her 13-year-old son Preston‘s eighth grade graduation ceremony!

The 37-year-old “Toxic” singer supported her son at the event held on Wednesday afternoon (May 29), Us Weekly reports.

Preston graduated from a private Christian school in Los Angeles County, and the ceremony took place “just down the road” at a community church, a source told the outlet.

Britney‘s youngest son, Jayden, 12, attends the same school, where he “plays tackle football” like Preston, the source added.

Britney Spears‘ ex-husband Kevin Federline is opening up about co-parenting their two children.

The former couple share two sons – 11-year-old Sean Preston and 10-year-old Jayden James – who split their time between their parents.

“When you are co-parenting, you have to be willing to give up some of the things you would really like to do,” Kevin explained to Bravo.

He added, “My boys will be gone [for Father's Day], their mom’s off in Asia on tour. They are with me until the 15th, and then they are gone for the rest of the month. So I won’t have the boys for Father’s Day.”

Kevin also explained that co-parenting “wasn’t always easy, but it’s a lot easier now” and spilled on Sean Preston and Jayden James‘ interests.

“Preston kind of knows how to DJ. He wants to learn more. I got him Ableton [music production app] on his laptop, so he kind of messes with that…He’s really big in to the EDM trap music scene,” Kevin explained.

The 35-year-old entertainer took to Instagram during the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards to share a picture of her boys – Sean, 11, and Jayden, 10 – hanging out with Nick Jonas as they arrived at the awards show on Saturday (April 29) in Los Angeles.
