Samuel L. Jackson‘s reboot of the movie Shaft is now in theaters and if you’re wondering if there’s an end credits scene, we have the answer for you.

The new film brings back the original Shaft star, Richard Roundtree, and introduces Jessie T. Usher to the film franchise.

We can confirm that there is NOT an end credits scene after the film is over, so feel free to leave the theater without worrying about missing something!

It’s common for films that are part of a franchise to have a post-credits scene, though this one does not.

The guys are playing three generations of the famous character. Richard starred in the original 1971 film Shaft and its two sequels.

Samuel rebooted the series in 2000 while playing Richard‘s nephew.

Jessie is joining the franchise this time around as Samuel‘s son, “a young cyber expert FBI agent who, despite being estranged from his father, is forced to work with him on a case. It becomes a collision between old school and new school,” according to Deadline.
