Disney Reveals Tons of New Movie & TV Projects on Disney Plus Day - Full Recap!

Disney is making some big announcements!

The company announced the release dates and details for highly anticipated and brand new titles coming to Disney+ during Disney Plus Day on Friday (November 12).

The streaming service is celebrating its two year anniversary, and previously announced a big celebration set for the day.

To mark the special day, Disney+ is thanking subscribers with new content, fan experiences and much more. Plus, even more titles were just added to the streamer. Check out the list!

Jameela Jamil Joins the Cast of 'She-Hulk' Disney+ Series

Jameela Jamil has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel television series She-Hulk!

Variety reports that the 34-year-old Misery Index host has signed on for a “major role” in the new Disney+ show.

It was previously announced that Tatiana Maslany would be playing the title character in She-Hulk, which is a legal comedy centering on Jennifer Walters, an attorney who has similar powers to her cousin, Bruce Banner/The Hulk.

The cast also includes Hamilton‘s Renee Elise Goldsberry, who will be playing a character named Amelia and Ginger Gonzaga as She-Hulk’s best friend.

Mark Ruffalo is also set to reprise his role as The Hulk and Tim Roth will also be returning as The Abomination.

Hamilton's Renee Elise Goldsberry Joins Marvel's 'She-Hulk' Series

Renee Elise Goldsberry has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel television series She-Hulk!

The 50-year-old actress, best known for her Tony-winning work in the Broadway musical Hamilton, will also be seen in the upcoming Peacock series Girls5eva. The trailer for the new comedy series was just released the other day.

Tatiana Maslany will be playing the title character in She-Hulk, which is a legal comedy centering on Jennifer Walters, an attorney who has similar powers to her cousin, Bruce Banner/The Hulk.

Deadline reports that Mark Ruffalo will reprise his role as The Hulk and Tim Roth will be reprising his work as The Abomination.

Ginger Gonzaga to Star Opposite Tatiana Maslany in 'She-Hulk' Disney+ Series

Ginger Gonzaga has joined the cast of the upcoming Marvel series She-Hulk!

The 37-year-old actress has singed on to play the best friend of Jennifer Walters aka She-Hulk in the series that will soon be debuting on Disney+, Deadline reports.

As previously reported, Tatiana Maslany will be playing She-Hulk.

If you didn’t know, She-Hulk was the last major Marvel character to be co-created by the legendary Stan Lee and she is the cousin of Bruce Banner (played by Mark Ruffalo in the Marvel Cinematic Universe).

Mark will be reprising his role as The Hulk, while Tim Roth will be reprising his character of The Abomination on She-Hulk.

She-Hulk follows Jennifer Walters (Maslany), an attorney who gets an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin that gives her powers, “but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out.”

Ginger is best known for her roles in TV shows including Mixology, Togetherness, I’m Dying Up Here, Wrecked, Kidding, and Room 104.

Tatiana Maslany Denies That She's Playing She-Hulk in Marvel Series

Tatiana Maslany is denying the reports that she will be starring in Marvel’s upcoming She-Hulk series, which is reportedly going to Disney+.

The 35-year-old Emmy-winning actress was announced as the star of the series last month and even Mark Ruffalo, who plays The Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, congratulated her.

In an interview with The Sudbury Star, Tatiana denied she’s playing the role.

“That actually isn’t a real thing and it’s like a press release that’s gotten out of hand. It’s totally not — I’ve been connected to these things in the past and press has gotten onto it, but it’s not actually a thing, unfortunately,” she said.

The character, named Jennifer Walters, is an attorney who gets an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin that gives her powers, “but unlike Banner/Hulk, She-Hulk was able to keep her intelligence and personality when she Hulked out,” according to Deadline.

Tatiana Maslany to Play She-Hulk in Upcoming Disney+ Series!

Tatiana Maslany has landed the title role in the upcoming She-Hulk series that is being made at Disney+.

Kat Coiro has signed on to direct several episodes of the series, including the pilot.

Disney+ is working on several Marvel series, including The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision, and Loki, which will all be released next year.
