Prada‘s fashion show took place in both Shanghai and Milan at the same time, and the show combined a physical and digital experience.

Guests at both shows, which will present exactly the same collection shown on different models and in complementary sets, will be able to enjoy through video screens the simultaneous runway event happening at the same time in a different continent.

Prada shared that it was a “celebration of the unique experience of the runway, and the power of technology to transcend borders, to unite. A celebration of fashion and of community.”

Shira Haas Details The Research She Did For Her New Movie 'Asia'

Shira Haas keeps it cute in a checkered top with a Peter Pan collar while during the Storytellers panel at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City on Sunday (June 13).

The 26-year-old actress, who rose to fame after her role in Unorthodox, spoke to Ali Wentworth about her newest film, Asia.

Days before in another interview, Shira opened up about taking a deep dive to portray a character with a terminal illness on screen.

“I was able to connect to her pain of dealing with a chronic illness facing death. I’m not an easy crier in real life as much as I am on screen, but I did cry,” Shira admitted.

She continued about the role of Vika, who she says is both a young girl and “an older one [due to her disease]. I know I will never understand what it is like for someone like her physically and mentally, so I studied situations where people must face a terminal illness.”

Shira did reveal that she really did research to play Vika: “I did a lot of physical research. At first, I met with a doctor and I met with a young girl, a very brave patient with the same disease as Vika, so I could know what it felt like.”

She also “reacquainted myself with the five stages of grief (denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance) taught by (popular psychologist) Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. “This was the closest way to learn how to experience death.”

“It was kind of secretive. We got an audition for The Orchestra. This was the name of the project. No one told us anything about Netflix. I just knew that it was for a Hasidic guy from the Satmar community, and I just got two scenes: the first-date scene and one of the bedroom scenes,” he explained of the audition process for the show.

“Then I got to know that I’m doing the audition with Shira. Shira and I have been friends for 10 years. We grew up next to each other. It was so exciting because we were waiting for this opportunity to act with each other. The night before, we were speaking on the phone and did the date scene in Yiddish. We both never spoke Yiddish before and never did a scene in Yiddish. I was in my bedroom speaking with her on the phone, and it did feel like a first date. It did feel very charming. It was magical, this conversation, and we felt this could work. We were crossing fingers for each other: ‘I wish we would get it. I wish we would do it together.’”
