Shock G‘s cause of death has been revealed.
The Digital Underground rapper passed away after being found unresponsive in his Tampa hotel room at the age of 57 back in April, and there were no signs of trauma. Now, the Hillsborough County Medical Examiner has concluded their analysis, via TMZ on Friday (June 11).

The hip-hop community is mourning another devastating loss.
Rapper Shock G from the group Digital Undeground died at the age of 57-years-old on Thursday (April 22), his father Edward Racker shared with TMZ.
Shock G, whose real name is Gregory Jacobs, was found dead in his hotel room in Tampa, Florida. As of right now, Shock G‘s cause of death is unclear, but there were no signs of trauma.
His father says that authorities will being conducting an autopsy in the near future.
Shock G rose to fame in the ’90s as the lead vocalist for Digital Underground and their hit song “The Humpty Dance.” The song also led to him creating his alter ego Humpty Hump.
Shock G also worked closely with Tupac Shakur before his tragic death in 1996.
