Christina Ricci, Billy Magnussen & Justin Hartley to Star in 'Harley Quinn & The Joker' Podcast for Spotify

Christina Ricci is taking on a new role.

According to Variety, the 42-year-old Yellowjackets actress is set to star as Harley Quinn in a new podcast at Spotify in partnership with Warner Bros. and DC.

The scripted podcast, titled Harley Quinn & The Joker: Sound Mind, will serve as an origin story for the iconic Gotham villain. Producers told the outlet that the series will “finally let Harley control her own narrative, instead of portraying her through the lens of the story The Joker has told.”

Harry Styles Might Break the Spotify Record with New Single 'As It Was'

Harry Styles‘ fans are close to pushing his new song “As It Was” past the Spotify record!

The 28-year-old singer released the new song at 7pm ET on Thursday (March 31) and it has a couple hours left in its first day of streaming.

The Chart Data account on Twitter is reporting that the song “is currently challenging the all-time record for biggest single day streams for a song in Spotify history.”

Adele currently holds the record for most streams in a single day with her song “Easy on Me,” which was streamed 19.7 million times on October 15, 2021.

Fans are already talking about who the lyrics in “As It Was” are about and fans think the song is about his girlfriend Olivia Wilde. Check out the lyrics they’re pointing out!

UPDATE!

Unfortunately, Harry didn’t break the record, but he came very close. The song debuted with 16.103 million streams, which is the biggest single-day of streaming for a male artist in global Spotify history.

Joe Rogan's Salary from Spotify Is Reportedly Way More Than $100 Million

It was previously reported that Joe Rogan was being paid $100 million for his multi-year contract with Spotify, but now it’s being claimed that the company paid him a lot more than that.

Rogan entered into an exclusivity deal with Spotify in 2020, releasing his first show on the streaming service in September 2020 and becoming exclusive to the streamer later that year.
