The Apple TV+ series See has been renewed for a third season, before the second season even premieres!
Deadline reports that the second and third season were shot back-to-back and production is currently underway on the upcoming episodes. This means the renewal was made months ago.
See “takes place in the far future and humankind has lost its sense of sight. In season two, Baba Voss (Momoa) is fighting to reunite his torn-apart family and get away from the war and politics that surround him, but the more he moves away, the deeper he gets sucked in, and the emergence of his nemesis brother (New cast member Dave Bautista) threatens his family even more.”
Parasite is one of the most-nominated movies at this weekend’s Oscars and Hollywood stars gathered to celebrate the film on Friday night (February 7) at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
Jason Momoa is starring in the upcoming Apple series See and the official trailer was just unveiled!
The epic world-building drama also stars Alfre Woodard and it will debut exclusively on the new streaming service Apple TV+ on November 1.
The series takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived, emerged blind. Jason stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed.
See is written and created by Steven Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence. The cast also includes Yadira Guevara-Prip, Sylvia Hoeks, Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe, Christian Camargo, Hera Hilmar, and Marilee Talkington.
