There was a Modern Family mini-reunion at a Broadway show this week!
Julie Bowen, who played Claire Dunphy, stepped out to support her on-screen brother Jesse Tyler Ferguson, who played Mitchell Pritchett, during a performance of his Broadway show Take Me Out.
The duo got together for a selfie, and Jesse revealed just how excited he was to see his friend and co-star with a post on social media.

Take Me Out is back on Broadway with stars Jesse Williams and Jesse Tyler Ferguson reprising their roles!
The Tony-winning play returned with an opening night performance on Thursday (October 27) at the Schoenfeld Theatre in New York City.
Take Me Out won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Play and Best Featured Actor in a Play for Ferguson. The production is now back on Broadway for a 14-week return engagement. All actors other than Patrick J. Adams returned with the production and he was replaced by Bill Heck.
Celebs like Sara Bareilles, Camryn Manheim, Jessica Hecht and Tony winners Nathan Lane, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Danny Burstein, and Katie Finneran were in the audience for the performance.
Sara previously worked with producers Barry and Fran Weissler on her musical Waitress, so she was clearly there to support them!
In Take Me Out, playwright Richard Greenberg celebrates the personal and professional intricacies of America’s favorite pastime. When Darren Lemming (Williams), the star center fielder for the Empires, comes out of the closet, the reception off the field reveals a barrage of long-held unspoken prejudices dealing with sexuality and masculinity, money and power, and race and class. Facing some hostile teammates and fraught friendships, Darren is forced to contend with the challenges of being a gay person of color within the confines of a classic American institution. As the Empires struggle to rally toward a championship season, the players and their fans begin to question tradition, their loyalties, and the price of victory.
Jesse recently opened up about the show’s famous shower scene and joked about water temperature problems.

In case you missed it, the 41-year-old Grey’s Anatomy alum appears nude in the shower while onstage. He joked about the experience at Variety‘s The Business of Broadway event, which he attended with his castmates on Monday (October 17) in New York City.

Jesse Williams isn’t keeping up with Grey’s Anatomy.
The 41-year-old started playing Dr. Jackson Avery on the medical drama in 2009 and left the show earlier this year to try new things like his Broadway project Take Me Out.
He explained that he wasn’t watching new episodes of the series during a recent interview.

Jesse Williams is heading back to Broadway for Take Me Out, but he isn’t worried about suffering another leak.

Patrick J. Adams is talking Take Me Out.
The 40-year-old Suits star shared a message following the news of the show’s return to Broadway this fall, starring Jessie Williams and Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
“Good news: Take Me Out is coming back to Broadway this fall for another limited run,” he began.

Take Me Out is going for another run!
Lead producers Barry and Fran Weissler announced that the Tony Award-winning Broadway production will return on Thursday, October 27 at the Schoenfeld Theatre.
The show will return with Tony Award Nominee Jesse Williams and Tony Award Winner Jesse Tyler Ferguson. The rest of the cast will be announced at a later date.
The show first opened in spring of 2022, earning four Tony Award nominations, and winning Best Revival of a Play and Best Featured Actor in a Play for Jesse Tyler Ferguson.
