The new Netflix series Away, starring Hilary Swank, has been number one on the streaming service this week and fans are wondering what will happen in a possible second season.

Netflix has not yet renewed the show for another season, but thanks to the early success, it seems inevitable that we’ll get more seasons.

Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming series Away, which stars Hilary Swank as an astronaut who is leading the first mission to Mars.

The new show is executive produced by Jason Katims, who brought us such series as Friday Night Lights and Parenthood.

Here is the official synopsis: As American astronaut Emma Green (Swank) prepares to lead an international crew on the first mission to Mars, she must reconcile her decision to leave behind her husband (Josh Charles) and teenage daughter (Talitha Bateman) when they need her the most. As the crew’s journey into space intensifies, their personal dynamics and the effects of being away from their loved ones back on Earth become increasingly complex.

Away will premiere on Netflix on September 4.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that one of Hilary‘s beloved movies will be getting a sequel.

Seth Rogen hits the red carpet alongside wife Lauren Miller at the 2018 MTV Movie & TV Awards on Saturday (June 16) at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif.

The 36-year-old actor was also joined at the event by Schitt’s Creek actors Daniel Levy (a nominee!) and Annie Murphy.

Nick Robinson and Katherine Langord hit the red carpet at the premiere of their new movie Love, Simon on Tuesday (March 13) at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles.

The actors were joined at the event by co-stars Josh Duhamel, Alexandra Shipp, Logan Miller, Keiynan Lonsdale, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Talitha Bateman, Tony Hale, Natasha Rothwell, Miles Heizer, Joey Pollari, and Clark Moore.

Love, Simon, which is getting rave reviews and currently has an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes, hits theaters this weekend.

Nick Robinson and director Greg Berlanti pair up while attending JustJared.com‘s special screening of their movie Love, Simon on Sunday night (January 14) at The London Hotel in West Hollywood, Calif.

This screening marked the first time that Nick and Greg have seen the finished film with an audience. They were joined by actor Logan Miller after the film for a Q&A, moderated by our editor-in-chief Jared Eng.

Fun fact: Greg‘s husband, soccer star Robbie Rogers, makes a cameo in the movie as a soccer coach!

Talitha Bateman, who plays Nick‘s younger sister in the movie, was also in attendance with her actor brother Gabriel Bateman.

Some of the celeb guests who watched the film included Nicole Scherzinger, The Fosters‘ Maia Mitchell and Cierra Ramirez, Victoria Justice and her Eye Candy co-star Harvey Guillen, Courtney Eaton, Famous in Love‘s Georgie Flores and Charlie DePew, and more! Greg‘s dad Eugene was also there to show support.

Derek Hough and married couple Chris Hardwick and Lydia Hearst hit the red carpet for the premiere of It on Tuesday night (September 5) at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Lots of stars stepped out to see the movie, including Scandal‘s Guillermo Diaz, Pitch‘s Kylie Bunbury, The Big Sick‘s Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily V. Gordon, Annabelle: Creation‘s Talitha Bateman and Lulu Wilson, The Son‘s Jess Weixler, musician Benji Madden, and Seth Green with wife Clare Grant.

Rocker Gene Simmons was there with his family, including wife Shannon Tweed, daughter Sophie, and son Nick.

The doll from The Conjuring franchise, Annabelle, is back this weekend with Annabelle: Creation, and fans will want to know if they should stay for any post credits scenes!
