Taryn Manning Slams 'Orange is New Black' Co-Stars, Says 'This Show Hurt Me So Bad'

Taryn Manning is speaking out against Orange is the New Black.

Just one day after the final season was released on Netflix, the 40-year-old actress took to Instagram on Saturday (July 27) to slam the show and her co-stars.

“This show hurt me more than anything has in my life and if this is what I have to do to push what I stand for I will,” Taryn wrote in a lengthy post. “I have to speak out before anything happens to me. F—k fame! This show hurt humans. You will never truly know but many were hurt!”

Taryn
was also noticeably missing from the OITNB premiere earlier this week. She also recently alarmed fans when she shared another post where fans thought she was suicidal.

“I do not need to ever work again in this town. I’ve been dropped by everyone for having a backbone,” Taryn added. “I was dropped because a person terrorizes me daily and them too. So my team, they just turn away. Like a car accident. Rubber neck but don’t help. F—k show biz. A disgrace.”

Taryn concluded her post by writing, “Not one cast member cares about me. Just watch.”

Co-star Lori Petty – who plays Lolly on the show – commented on the post writing, “Hey. I love you” along with three heart emojis.

Taryn then responded, ““Thx bubs I know you do. And I love you. I am giving up everything to speak on how awful this career is and how awful we are treated. How I never knew if I was coming back yet I had seven optional seasons. How I didn’t even know how to plan my life, organize anything cause everything was a secret. Self serving bulls—t, for whatever sick agenda. How some of the most dear characters were just not there anymore. My pals. F—k this show. This show hurt me so bad.”

Taryn Manning Reveals How She Got Into Character for 'Orange Is The New Black'

Taryn Manning is on the latest issue of LaPalme Magazine, out now.

Here’s what the 40-year-old Orange Is The New Black star had to say…

On overhearing kids in her ballet class discussing acting: “I was eavesdropping, being nosey. Then my mom came to pick me up that night, and I was like ‘Shondra and Ashley take acting classes, why can’t I?’ I guess I was kind of a poser, I wanted to do what everyone else was doing.”

On her Orange Is The New Black character, Pennsatucky: “We’ve all heard about drug addiction, but to get into character I spent hours watching documentaries and researching the chemical makeup of methamphetamine. It was important for me to know the details because I had to constantly remind myself that this is a woman who has battery acid in her brain, cat litter, and it’s impossible for someone to function normally.”

On Boomkat, her musical collaboration with her brother: “We always loved music in our household. My brother forced me to sing over some tracks, and when he was pleased, his approval fueled my fire to keep going. It eventually became my ultimate love.”

Taryn Manning Is Not Suicidal, Clarifies Troubling Instagram Post

Taryn Manning is speaking out to clarify the troubling post that she put on Instagram.

The 40-year-old actress told fans that she would not be attending the Orange Is the New Black red carpet premiere and seemingly was crying out for help.

She wrote, “I wish I could be there. Unfortunate uncontrollable circumstances that no one could help with have made it this way. When someone is crying for help from someone who is after your life and soul. Please listen. No one deserves to have another person single handedly ruin their life to the point they are paralyzed and never leave in fear. I tried to tell everyone. No one cared.”

Now in an interview with The Blast, Taryn is explaining that she was the victim of a cyber terrorism attack and hopes that no one else will have to go through it.

“I am being so damaged by what’s happening to me and I’m older and I can see what’s happening. It doesn’t make it easier, it doesn’t make what’s happening correctable,” Taryn said in the phone call. “It’s this bad that all I can do is take my experience and understand and have such compassion and also want to advocate for the youth who don’t have the tools and the money and the resources… this is why we’re losing kids to this. I feel like dying sometimes, though I would never take my life. It’s that ugly when someone can shred your entire existence online.”

I miss you all so much ❤️ I wish I could be there.

Taryn continued, “Love you #oitnb @oitnb @netflix @lionsgate My heart is broken but I am forever in debt to you for this beautiful show. I love you @ijnej @ttobie @lvinnecour @nerikyle #terrorized #runiedlife.”

She added, “This is for anyone who feels alone, terrorized by cyber criminals, cyber bullying, criminals with the intent to cause others distress and isolate them from life, for people who have lost everything due to another humans mental illness and smear campaigns. This is for you too so you don’t feel so alone. It even happens to people who seemingly have the resources to stop it too. This is for my “team” of agents, managers and lawyers who didn’t do anything to help me. I forgive you though ✝️ I hope you’re happy, you know who you are. And no I am not Suicidal. You wish. I’m crushed and making a point how no one cares when you’re down.”

One of Taryn‘s friends commented, “Babe I tried to text you are you OK” to which she responded, “No.”
